Our Grade Two class loves to celebrate the holidays with a visit to Cranberryport. Cranberry Valentine is a great book to read on Valentine's Day. We especially liked this book because it showed us that friends are always there when you need them. As in all the other Cranberry books Mr. Whiskers was there to lead us on another fun adventure with Maggie,Grandmother, and all the other Cranberryport friends. Grandmother is the best cook in Cranberryport and we love to try her recipes that are included in each book. We recommend this book to Everyone! Our favourite saying is "suffering codfish".

This is such a cute story, incredibly endearing and heartwarming without being all sugary and over the top. Another great story and illustrations from the Devlin's.

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it as much as I did as a child we love picking our favorite picture out...I love the pictures and story...Buy this one they'll ask you to read it over and over!

I grew up with the book "Cranberry Thanksgiving" and I'm so glad to be able to track down other books in the Cranberry family. These books are a bit long for my 5 year old, but as she gets older I know she will appreciate them as I did as a kiddo! The recipes make great memories too!!

This is a cute story about an old sea fairer who had never received any Valentine's. So, when he suddenly starts getting loads and loads one Feb. 14th, he starts to get a little panicky.

Very endearing illustrations add a lot to this sweet story about, if not so much romantic love, then doing something nice for a friend.
