What a horrible product! I thought that some of the negative reviews could have been a bad batch of filters. Well, that wasn't the case. I used the filter in the humidifier, rinsed it out before use, and in the morning, the water turned brown. It was awful. Not only was the water brown in the bottom of the humidifier, but the mist was brown too (saw the droplets on the stand). Don't even bother with this product. AWFUL!

I bought the Hello Kitty humidifier for my daughter before I realized that it used a different filter than the Crane Duck humidifier I bought my son. It was frustrating that they didn't match, but I like the way the Hello Kitty filter works much better and the next humidifier I purchase will be compatible with this type of filter. It takes a minute to get the water flowing through the filter, but it seems to catch any "white dust" that would otherwise come out. And when i take it out of the humidifier and set it by the sink, it seems to dry out nicer than the other filter. Added bonus: my 2 year old likes to help set up the humidifers and can insert this one by himself.

We have the Hello Kitty humidifier and this has made a tremendous difference. Very easy to install and off you go!!! No more white film on everything. Will continue to buy these in the future!

Very helpful if you have hard water or humidifier creates a lot of build-up and needs constant maintenance/cleaning. (Was easy to notice the difference when I wasn't using filter, and we have soft water.) Seems to lessen the white dust as well. A little expensive for something that gets used a little while and then thrown away, but aside from cost, I would say it removes some of the hassle to have one.

it fits my thomas humidifier, the humidifier is great, not sure if the filter did its job, there's just no way for me to verify.

Prior to purchasing these filters, I had read that they would eliminate the white dust that is present when these filters are not used.
The filters help cut down on the white dust, but they definitely do not eliminate the white dust.

These work great....leave a lot less residue in our humidifiers AND we have one in each of our 3 KIDS rooms. I always keep replacements in the closet as they are sometimes hard to find in the store. In fact, I may order a few more right now!Mommy's High Heel Shoes

Others have complained of white dust and other issues. I have had no problem with them. I just got bothkids and only needed the long one for my model.

When I placed the filter into the humidifier, the device would not work. Once I removed it, it worked fine. Don't waste your money!!!

I bought this with the Penquin humidifier because it was with the "most often purchased together" set. Problem is that it won't go with my penquin model. Watch out!
