I bought the Crane Tower fan b/c I was looking for something that could cool my room without taking up too much space and making too much noise. I have tried the cheaper tower fans in the past, but they do not produce sufficient cooling air. I thought that by spending a few extra bucks, I could get a fan that would last for a while, or at least not blow hot air.

Pros:

-Color blends well w/ furniture

-Digital aspect looks chic

-Can turn off digital aspect

-The fan is tall so air is blown into the floor

Cons:

-The print on the fan remote rubs off after multiple uses

-Has three settings but all are pretty weak

-CHEAPLY made

* Most of all, it does't prodcue enough force to cool even my teenie-tiny bedroom, with the door closed...

First off, this fan is not quiet. I feel a little ripped off with that claim. Second, it doesnt even move that much air on high. I've searched all over for quiet fans and for whatever reason, i can find one.

Other points, setup is a little difficult. Getting the base on the fan is tricky and there is potential to break it.

Bottom line, there are cheaper fans that are better.

Bought it a couple mos ago and it was fairly quiet, not whisper quiet. Looks great. After 2 mos though it started making a ticking sound when you would turn it on. The faster you set the fan the louder / quicker the ticker sound. Too late to return it, as return policy is for 30 days. :(

Had the fan for a year; only turning it on during warm nights. Didn't make it to a second summer. It would turn off on its own. It came to a point that it didn't even turn on anymore. I was NOT expecting this from a $100 fan. I do not recommend it AT ALL!

Bought this fan to help cool an apartment without A/C. Fan works nicely and is fairly quiet. The LCD clock and timer functions are a nice addition. It's also one of the better looking tower fans that I've seen but that's subjective. Only real downside is that it's a bit expensive. Still, would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this Tower Fan for my son who is in college up in Chico, CA where the weather is hot. I sent it to him as a surprise and when he got it he said he loved how it looked and best of all it didn't take up much room. It is very stylish for a fan. He enjoys the timer too as he can set it to come on before he gets in from class. He also likes that he can put it on at night and have it turn off when he falls asleep. Great buy and we would recommend this product.
