Book Description

December 10, 2003
In this book, Franklyn Sills extends the concepts and skills covered in his first volume to the specific structural membrane and tissue dynamics of the human form, demonstrating the connection between craniosacral therapy and osteopathic healing. Volume Two shows students and practitioners how to relate to the major tissue structures within a wide perceptual field and a craniosacral biodynamic orientation. A thorough survey of the major body areas, including motility, structure, and anatomical relationships, offers practical applications throughout the book.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"Drawing on developments in biophysics, psychotherapy, and neuroscience, and working from classical osteopathic roots, he has helped to pioneer a new therapeutic modality, Craniosacral Biodynamics. This approach reaches far beyond the traditional limits of physical medicine. His two volumes which outline the fundamentals of Craniosacral Biodynamics will benefit humanity well into the new millennium.”
- Katherine Ukleja, D.O., Senior Lectureer, Karuna Institute and Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust, UK

"I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about craniosacral therapy. It is clearly written, richly illustrated, and brimming with clinical wisdom."
-Daniel J. Benor, M.D., Editor of the International Journal of Healing and Caring.

"Anyone who is interested in the essence of the craniosacral approach should read this remarkable book. "
-Michael Kern, D.O., RCST, Course Director of the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust, U.K., Author of Wisdom in the Body

5.0 out of 5 stars The Book all Craniosacral Therapist should own!, July 24, 2004
This review is from: Craniosacral Biodynamics, Volume 2 (Paperback)
If you are trained in Craniosacral Therapy, especially under Upledger's model, this book is for you! If you found Upledger's book a bit dry or difficult to plod through and not an easy resource or want more information ont how CST and restrictions relate to all of the organ sytems, glands, tissues and diseases this book is a must have. It is very, very informative and difficult medical concepts are broken down to an understandable level. It made the lightulbs go off in my head. Once you can feel the CS pulse you can use this book to learn how to heal more than you ever imagined. You do not need the first volume,if you are already a CST. If you are not, but are any type of energy practioner the first volume would be a good resource to have, but this second volume can stand alone. I love this book.It is well worth every penny it costs!
