The Cranium booster box is what the original game should have been: challenging and thoughtful. The designers clearly put their heads together for the new questions and it shows. We have all but stopped playing with the original cards because now we're actually getting stumped on the trivia cards and having more fun with the charades cards. NOTE: with the added difficulty the game becomes more challenging for kids. They may not find the booster pack as fun. Other items of interest: they've made the all-play ("club cranium") easier to see on the cards and important words in the description are now in a bolded font. Small touches, big improvement. Highly recommended.

The booster box is definitely worth getting if you like playing the original Cranium, and especially if you thought the original was too easy. The 1st time we played Cranium, we finished 2 complete games in about 1 hour. With the booster box cards, we had more challenging questions and even sillier and funnier creative cards. We packed away the original cards and I would only bother using the booster set from now on. Whatever set you use, the game is a great excuse to be silly and see how goofy your friends can be. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard.

I was lucky enough to get one of the first booster boxes in the country. This thing rocks. I have played Cranium so much, and had TONS of fun but we were starting to repeat some of the cards. These new cards are awesome, I think better than the original game which I gave five stars, if there were six I would give Booster Box more!. They seem a little more challenging, a lot more fun, and some really outrageous stuff. You should have seen my stuffy uncle Joe sculpting an udder with Cranium clay, I thought I was going to lose it. I hope they keep these Booster Boxes coming. Now I know what to get all those friends who I got Cranium for Christmas last year. Ahh that makes it easy!

This is a fantastic game if you are trying to decide whether to play a trivia game, a pictionary type game or charades. It has all of the above and more in it.

We played back-to-back rounds of this game -- all the family, age 9 to 69 -- laughed ourselves silly, and didn't have a single argument! Talk about a successful holiday. Order the booster box, because you will go through the questions much more quickly than expected - we had two sets of the game in two different cities and had to be sure to remove the cards we had used in previous games to make it fair. I highly recommend this game to all ages - be sure to split up young and old players onto separate teams. (We would give hints about the appropriateness of a particular player for the question when age made a real difference.) Enjoy!

We played Cranium with some friends of ours in academia. It was great fun seeing an otherwise quiet graphic artist & sociologist couple dive into these challenges with relish. Another couple was a sociologist and librarian, and they really put their all into the music and mime questions. A great time was had by all, and people now ask us to bring Cranium with us to their parties.

This game has provided our family with many hours of fun. Our family ranges from age 5 to age 40, and everyone can be included and participate. It has been very educational also. We all have learned some fun and interesting facts.

The booster set is money extremely well spent. I find the questions a bit more contemporary, making the game easier for the younger set. For example, in this pack you impersonate Darth Vader, the original WC Fields...(tough for younger folks.) This isn't to say it isn't challenging - there is still plenty of competitive action.

Since pulling out Cranium and the Booster pack - it is tough to get anyone to do anything else at a party. I heartily recommend the booster pack.

This is a fantastic party game! Better than all others out there. I do wish the questions were a bit more challenging - sometimes we play and get every answer right, other times it is a big mess of laughter and crazy guesses. I highly recommend this game to ANYONE. The only real problem I had was understanding the directions - they could be more explicit.

At a certain point, you will need this if you like cranium. I actually liked these Qs better than the ones in the original box.
