5.0 out of 5 stars Three cheers!, July 20, 2004

Adding to the acclaim here--the Cranium games are all fun, but this is just the best. It's especially good for multiage groups and family gatherings--one of the few games where being older and sharper doesn't confer much advantage. Even kids who don't really read and write yet can play with adult help and have fun.

Another plus: We ran into a bit of a problem with a defective part and Cranium's customer service was absolutely first-rate in resolving it. Anyone who buys anything these days knows how rare that is!

5.0 out of 5 stars Literally, fun for ALL ages!, December 1, 2003

My 17 year old brother, my 8 and 10 year old (female) cousins, and my 21 year old self played this game after Thanksgiving dinner and within minutes had jealous adults watching our fun (we let them join in the next round). Though our 4 and 2 year old cousins were too young to really play (reading and writing required), they were content to watch and laugh with us. We all laughed so hard and had the best time. This is definitely the stuff the best family memories are made of.

3.0 out of 5 stars Kids seem to love it, December 5, 2004

This was my first experience with Cranium games so I don't know how this one compares to the others. My boys, ages 10 and 8 seem to really enjoy the game and it can be fun, but it is not as much fun as I thought it would be after reading the reviews. You draw cards and whatever card you draw determines what activity you do. One activity is to use clay to sculpt your answer to the question. Well, we never have enough time to actually sculpt something. Usually, we just shout out answers without even seeing what the person is sculpting. One activity has you guesstimate your answer to a question, such as "How many times have you flushed the toilet in your lifetime?" A lot of those questions aren't easy for my 8 year old to actually come up with an answer that we could possibly get. And the point is to give an answer that can be guessed because you get points for guessing correctly and for having your answer guessed. So, a lot of the game just seems like shouting out answers and not doing much of the activities. However, my sons seem to enjoy it but I think a lot of it is because their dad and I are playing it with them. Also, you have to remember to push the guess button every time, which so far, my 8 year old forgets to do, so you can get the maximum number of points. Maybe after we play it some more, we will get a better handle on how it is to work and we will get more enjoyment out of it. I wouldn't suggest buying this game unless your kids were a little older than mine. Hope this helps somebody!!
