It's simple to learn and easy to play, though it does also involve some strategy.

My 7 & 8 yr olds have really enjoyed playing this which says quite a bit because they love their computer and video games.

It's fun and super easy to learn, and while I've only played with adults I could see it being a great game for kids.

I think that this game, like the majority of Cranium games, are marketed towards the entire family but often lose their value as the kids get older. This is the kind of game that I as an adult readily enjoy playing and can see playing long after my girls are past their current ages. Right now, they are 11 and 9 but I believe we actually got this game when they were 9 and 7 and they were able to play it. The game is extremely durable, made out of some type of smooth, hard plastic. The pieces interlock but the tabs that have to fit together do not feel like they will ever break. Essentially, the goal of the game is to score the most points by placing mini pyramid-shaped "tiles" onto a square board keeping in mind that the sides of each "tile" must match the sides of the pieces they are placed adjacent to.

I think there's definite educational value for a couple of reasons. First off, a person gets 3 pieces with each turn and has a opportunity to gain bonus pieces based on the type of move they make. If a player plans ahead appropriately, they can lay down 1 or more of their pieces to set up beneficial moves for their remaining pieces. Because there are only two colors to match, the game never gets overly complex but it's enough to teach planning skills as a strategy to younger players. The matching of the pyramid pieces can take place with the pieces in either an upright or upside-down position, depending on the layout of the board. As such, I think there's a tiny bit of spatial reasoning that applies as well, which contributes to the educational factor. That can sometimes be a challenge for the younger players, perhaps around 6, 7, or even 8 years old, but I think it's still worth owning the game and getting them used to this type of thought process.

I purchased this game for my 8 year old daughter, knowing how much our family enjoys the Cranium games. Triple Triumph does NOT disappoint! It was fairly easy to learn, and quickly became a favorite of our family. With such a balance of skill and luck, it's possible for our kids to beat their parents' most honest efforts! What a treat and thrill for us and our kids. My husband and I love to play this game even after the kids go off to bed. Another plus is that the whole game fits easily and securely into it's cloth-like bag...no box required, so it packs into small spaces. A definite winner from Cranium!!!

I love this toy. I have been playing with my 5 & 6 year old. They do need my help, double checking that they have matched all the sides correctly, but we are all adding and counting together and they keep asking to play! It is a great game to have around.

This is a really classic game unlike many made these days. It's fun and super easy to learn, and while I've only played with adults I could see it being a great game for kids. It's colorful, tactile, and has a nice short game-play (one round for kids and tourneys for us!)

I purchased this game on a whim pre-holiday last year. I am very fond of many cranium games and was intrigued by the simplicity in design. The game is very fun, easy to learn, will appeal to all ages, and relatively quick to play (rounds probably last about 15 min.). My 7 & 8 yr olds have really enjoyed playing this which says quite a bit because they love their computer and video games. There is some strategy, but also quite a bit of luck (what triangles you pick from the bag, and whether or not "your space" gets taken before your turn. It is so simple and fun, yet challenging and competitive. It similar to Triominos, but with colors instead of numbers and it has the bonus of playing three dimensionally.

I bought a few sets when this was featured on Woot, thinking it might be a great addition to our board games and gift closet. I'm totally glad we bought it! My husband and I enjoyed playing this after we got it and we introduced it to an 8-yr and a 5-yr who both enjoyed playing it as well. It helps develop good reasoning and forethought. Even though it states that it's for ages 6+, the 5-yr picked it up quickly and was quite good at it after just a few turns.

This game is well-designed and seems relatively durable. The clever score-keeping method of the pegs traveling around the board is also a useful and fun feature. The only problem we see with this game is that the paint appears less durable than the pieces themselves and may wear over time, making it slightly harder to see the colored edges. Definitely not a deal-breaker, though.
