I got this as a Christmas gift for my 9-1/2 old daughter, who is a huge Spongebob fan. In fact, our whole family is. The game is great and exciting, although not about the Spongebob shows. There are various ways to play; you may have to act out a clue, draw it, mold it out of clay (provided). The one my daughter loves the most is one where you have to go searching for items (before the timer runs out). Example, something purple and something pointy, something wet and something dry. My only complaint is that the answers/clues are very hard to read, you are provided a view finder, but the print is very small. And some of the cards that have pictures on them and you have to tell what order they should be in, or "what's wrong with the picture" are very tiny. My eyes aren't great, but they are not that bad. Overall, a really fun game. We have fun playing just the two of us, but we also enjoyed playing as a family (4). There are a lot of learning opportunities in the game, but its so much fun she doesn't notice she's learning. I would recommend for her age group.

The family has enjoyed the many versions of Cranium games that we have played so far. Including Cranium Wow, Carnium Pop 5 and now Kids Cranium Spongebob Edition. I would say that this is a good game for young kids around the 7 to 9 years of age and enjoyable for the parents as well. Not too complicated and offers many event options to perform. The tic tac toe method of playing is a nice idea for the young ones. We like this for the kids more then games like hungry hungry hippo, Candy Land, Connect Four, and Sorry cause it get the kids to think and use their creative minds. Much like the games Guesstures and Pictionary. The token design of the game pieces and the answer viewing glasses makes it even more fun for the kids

A couple of small issues I have with the game is the "go find it" cards where the player has to hunt for two things around the house based on the card description. OK to do at home... tough to do at a friend's house. another issue is, the player tends to pick a card and start to do the event or answer the question before the timer is set. I think the makers could have put the question and answer on the back side of the card and the directions on the front. Therefore, the player would have to wait for the timer then flip the card to begin. The red filter glasses will insure that the player will not see the answer even if it's on the same side. But these are very small issues and does not take away from the enjoyment of the game.

If your kids like Spongebob, then I recommend this game especially since the questions can relate to the show. We picked this up at a discount, but it's worth it at full price if you have young ones to play it with. I want to also highly recommend the Cranium Pop 5 game for adults. This is the BEST version of the Cranium adult games out there we think. Especially for small house parties with family and friends.

bought this for our soon-to-be-7-year-old daughter. She begs to play this game at least once a day!!! She loves using the modeling clay, doodle pad, charades, and all the different "tasks" you have to do to get a token on the board! There were a few cards that she didn't know what the word meant, but we'd just pick a different card that she knew the word.

My daughter was 7 when she got this. Way too easy, but still fun for her. Worth it if you're kid is young and a Spongebob fan.

Bought this game for Christmas and it was a huge hit. My youngest is 7 and the oldest 17. Very interactive. Everything from acting out words to running around the house to find objects. This game is also thought provoking and educational. You can't go wrong with this one. :)
