My 7-year-old nephew had a lot of fun with this, once we'd figured out how to used it. Not sure of the long-term value unless a child enjoys dress-up, but it turned out to be a popular Christmas gift.

This item is great! we have had it for over a year now and the two kids(and the adults a)get a good laugh out of it. Alien translature- the kids record some silly saying or burbling/noises and you select the alien language and it translates it,( speeds the recording up or slows it down with adding some alien noises)A five year old girl and 9 year old boy use it so often, DEFINETLY worth the price!!
