5.0 out of 5 stars Everything I needed
Recommended by the LBS, the Crank Brothers Multi-10 features 7 hex wrenches, 2 screwdriver heads, and a Torx wrench. good quality and function for the price but it is a small brick. It weighs 152 grams per my wife'e kitchen scale. That is a lot more than the advertised 124 grams. It is also large. Keep that in mind if looking at this for size/weight. My Topeak Toolbar does almost as much but is smaller and lighter.

Recommended by the LBS, the Crank Brothers Multi-10 features 7 hex wrenches, 2 screwdriver heads, and a Torx wrench. No chain tool or spoke wrench, but for a street commuter or casual rider it features everything you need. Great for quick adjustments or minor repairs. It has an aluminum frame, and the tools are steel - no plastic in sight. The tools are long enough to give sufficient leverage to get the job done. The tools are a little tough to fold out of the frame (they're really packed in there tight) but that's my sole complaint.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what you'll need, April 7, 2010

The 10-tool set is great! It's sturdy as all heck and good for adjusting almost any aspect of your bike on the fly.

It's actually more useful for the allen wrench applications than the 17-tool version - because there are fewer tools, they take more space. This makes them longer, sturdier, and easier to handle. I've used both and prefer the 10-tool for simple adjustments.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice, Handy & Easy to Use., November 11, 2009

This review is from: Crank Brothers Multi Bicycle Tool (10-Function) (Sports)
I Bought this tool as a gift, and asked it to be delivered directly to the person it was for. First I was concerned about the seller saying they needed 4-5 days extra for processing, but at the end, they delivered the product almost a week sooner than expected. The tool is excellent as I've had absolutely no complains about it and it has all the necessary keys for basic bike maintenance and tune-up. My girlfriend was able to complete her preassembled bike and made brake tune-up in about two hours with my remote help (and this was her first time as a bike mechanic!). The tool's design is very clean and is easy to handle, it allows for very good torque even from small hands. I would recommend this tool for anyone with beginner to intermediate skills in bike mechanics, or if you prefer to have(carry) separated tools like a chain cutter, tire levers, etc. For beginners it's excellent since it doesn't have "too much".

Am pleased with the efficient shape of this tool. Has enough tools for on-road repairs and adjustments. Folded, it fits neatly into my Topeak wedge pack and takes up minimal room because of the the flat shape.

This is a high quality bike tool, and has 10 functions. The handle frame is made of aluminum, the tools are steel. No plastic parts here. I like how it's durable and slim. When I go riding trails, this is always in my pocket. The weight of the tool doesn't bother me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tool, December 9, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I haven't had this long but I really like it so far. The wrenches themselves stay put when you use them which is something I've had a problem with in the past. It is really slim too which fits nicely in my seat bag. Definitely a quality set, I'm very pleased with this multi-tool, and highly recommend crank brothers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for the Road, October 25, 2011

It's a solid multi-tool for on the road, though the arms tend not to want to stay straight when using any of the tools. All in all though, compact, well made, and offering a good range of tools you might need out on the road.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Multi-tool, Period, August 30, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a great stand alone multi-tool. I consider it almost as essential as water.
I have been carrying and using this tool in my hydration backpack mountain biking for several months now. I rarely leave the door to ride without this.
It is light, strong, simple and has everything I need on a multi-tool except a chain break and spoke wrench, which I prefer to have as a separate tools rather than an integrated tool.
I have not found a single screw that I could not handle with this tool on the trail, from the 8mm hex that fits the non-drive side of most cranks to minor adjustment of brake and shifter location on the handlebars.
Simple and strong, no BS.
