Product Description

It's much easier to fix a mechanical when you have the right tools. And since getting stranded with a mechanical is a drag, Crank Brothers created the Pica Plus Premium Multi-Tool. The Premium designation stems from the 6061 aluminum frame and stainless steel tools. Neither material will rust, which gives the service life of the Pica Plus a massive boost -- especially for those who live in wet areas. There's an assortment of metric Allen wrenches, from 2. 5 to 8mm, as well as a chain tool that works on 8-, 9-, and 10-speed chains. But, it's the four spoke wrenches, 8mm and 10mm sockets, and the T10 and T25 torx wrenches that really round out the Pica Plus. Basically, if you add tire levers, a pump and a patch kit to the equation, you have just about everything that you'll need to avoid walking back to the trailhead. The Crank Brothers Pica Plus Premium Multi-Tool is available in one size and in the color Silver.

Fantastic tool and build qualities.

The socket easily falls out of its storage slot, and the tools do not provide a feeling of strength / sturdiness.

I tried to replace the chain using the Chain breaker on this tool.

Decent tool. If I were to do it over again, I think I'd purchase the Park Tool equivalent. The socket easily falls out of its storage slot, and the tools do not provide a feeling of strength / sturdiness. Individual tools work as designed. Have not used the chain tool at this point.

I was sucked into getting this tool because of the design aspect that's my positive. Nicely designed

My Negative on this: Garbage.
* First of all, its heavy as hell and if you're a roadie concerned with weight don't get this.
* I tried to replace the chain using the Chain breaker on this tool. It didnt work. It broke on me. The threads got stripped for some dumb reason. Cheap. What a waste of my money. Don't be a target of failure if you decide to get this tool. It's crap. Sorry, I rarely give negative reviews ever.

Save your money, don't get this tool.

I really liked the indexed tools on this and they held really well when using the allen wrenches etc. Unfortunately the chain tool broke the first time I used it. The threads stripped immediately, I'm a professional bike mechanic so this was pretty appalling to me. The warranty program for crank brothers is a total pain. I wouldn't buy any of their multi tools again.

I purchased the CB PICA after learning the hard way that function trumps everything! I broke a chain in a mtb race and had to use my fancy lightweight Specialized mutli-tool to repair the chain - I could not break a a link - the tool looked pretty and weighed little (105g) but lacked the grip/torque needed to do the job. After exhaustive internet research, I decided to purchase the Crank Brothers PICA Premium Tool @ a weight penalty (166g). This tool rocks! It has all the hex and torx wrenches that one would need out on the trail plus a strong functioning chain tool. The 90 degree ratchet system is genius and allows for better grip and use the tools. The PICA is slightly larger than most multi-tools (Topeak, etc.) but it still fits in my very small saddle bag. IMO, worry-free beats weight weenie every time when it comes to multi-tools. Ride on, PICA!

O.K. I have a collection of bicycle muti tools.MyI previous one was a Crank Bros Multi 17. I packed it in my jersey pocket and it rusted like crazy. Other option was to pack in my seat bag but it's a tad large. I decided my best option was a stainless steel tool. I ordered one of these babies. Quality wise, it's a piece of art. It's larger than the Multi 17. Only had it four days and I noticed rust starting to form on the chain tool. I guess that part is not stainless. I scraped off the rust with a wire brush. Wrapped it in plastic wrap to protect it, It's a little difficult to open. It's spring loaded on the sides and I have not mastered the correct way to open it. For me I pull out the chain tool first then all the other tools will put out, but not with ease. They are indexed. Multi tools are not designed for everyday use. They are to get you back on the road if you have a mechanical mishap. This has everything you need. Best price I could find was at Amazon. I imagine this tool will last forever. Might open better after I have used it awhile.

I had purchased (and lost) the more expensive Lenzyme tool previously; this is better. It has a narrower profile, making it easier to turn, and the tools clicking into place works better. There are also a few sockets included, which is a nice touch. Beautiful workmanship.
