This may work on tires that are the thickness of paper, but for anything serious it's just not up to the challenge, buy the pedro's traditional type.

This is an excellent product and a real life saver. I highly recommend it to anybody who rides a bike. It's light and compact for packing and makes the job of removing and re-installing a tire a breeze. I never used a tire lever until I came across this one online one day - not sure how I got by without it. Very easy to use, and from what I can tell, a much better design than your typical tire lever. Kudos to Crank Bros.
