Well written,

This review is from: Crash of '79 (Paperback)
I read this book when it first came out. It was written before the fall of the Shah. Much of what he predicted in this book actually came true in a broader sense. He had a way of making very complex financial information easy to understand and entertaining. He will be missed.

Great fictional book about the oil crisis of the 1970s & imaginative financial & global conflicts it produced. I like the way Erdman writes & I'm suprised other Amazon customers have not reviewed this book & its author.John33

So popular in Iran,

This review is from: Crash of '79 (Paperback)
I read this book a few years ago in Persian language. The story/book itself is very popular and well-known in Iran because the late Shah of Iran has the main role. I think it is well written but I've no idea why the author chose the Shah and thought that His Majesty was to blame for the oil crisis and financial collapse in the west. Any how, the story is a bit outdated today but the story is well structured and well written. 4/5
