This book is used as a text for a college course I am taking. It's great--easy to read, informative, covers one end of Library Collection Development to the other. I've enjoyed it so much that I've already read the whole thing--even though I've only been assigned the first two chapters!

I used this for an introductory library course. The textbook was reader friendly; easy to understand. I found the book to be very practical and useful. The book included many websites to search. I found the book to be worth the price $27.00.
