Editorial Reviews

Review

"The Hellers' ground-breaking new book, Crash Course, provides both a rational background to the concept of symptoms based on actual changes in brain function resulting from traumatic experience, and a potent means of beginning the healing process. It is a must read for victims of motor vehicle accidents, and for the practitioners who treat them."
—Robert C. Scaer, M.D. P.C.

This review is from: Crash Course: A Self-Healing Guide to Auto Accident Trauma and Recovery (Paperback)
I am enormously enthusiastic about this book!  In Crash Course, Diane and Laurence Heller offer more than a powerful and effective approach to healing from the trauma of auto accidents.  They also contribute a significant self-help resource to people who have gone through trauma of any kind.  The wisdom in this book, and its practical applications - including an important emphasis on accessing and strengthening resources - invites readers to take an active and empowering role in recovering from current or past trauma.  I have recommended Crash Course to my clients as a valuable support in their healing journeys.

This book is very well written and informative for helping anyone recovering from an auto accident. There are lots of useful examples and practical exercises for people to refer to. I've given Crash Course to several of my friends and they were able to use it effectively to support their healing process. I recommend it to anyone suffering from any type of trauma.

5.0 out of 5 stars AAA Should Be Distributing This Book, August 29, 2002
By
This review is from: Crash Course: A Self-Healing Guide to Auto Accident Trauma and Recovery (Paperback)
Every one who drives should know about the possible effect of Auto Accident Trauma. The Hellers did a brilliant job of bringing cutting edge trauma symptom resolution to what has been very mysterious and elusive in the past. This book breaks new ground. If you've ever been in a serious auto accident, please read this book, make it a gift to yourself. It can reduce suffering and be a facinating read at the same time.
