This is an excellent introduction to John Paul II's Theology of the Body. Like most teachers of this subject, West focuses on sexuality and marriage, but discusses briefly the false dichotomy of spirit v. body, corporeality and incarnation in Christianity, and the idea of salvation through the body, which were all fascinating to me. I am sure that he is right in asserting (along with many others) that these teachings presents Christianity's most comprehensive refutation of the Manichean heresy, (which postulates and dualism between the spiritual and material realms.) I dont' know what is going on with the one copy available here, but this audio set can be purchased directly through The Gift Foundation for five dollars, and is well worth it. The website is:
