Review

"I finished this book in one sitting. Well, it's a short novella after all but that was not the main reason! The story and the characters in Crash into Love had me so captivated that I totally lost track of my time! When I reached the end, I had this silly smile on my face even though I can't bear to part with the two main characters." -Michelle Chew Writes
"I knew I would like this book because Sofia wrote it. Loving it is a bonus I enjoyed immensely." -Heather Hand
"I have to say, this is one of the best novella's I have read in the Indulgence line. Right from the opening chapter it grabbed me. " -Nicola_1202
"This book is one you would read while curling up on the couch, on a rainy day. A feel good, slow paced, sweet romance. Jonah is toe-curling sexy and knows how to make a woman feel cherished." -Cheryl Sanders
"I was drawn in on the first page and read it nonstop until I finished at 3.30 in the middle of the night. Yes I am pretty sleepy today but so worth it." -Savannah

More About the Author

Romance author Sofia Grey spends her days managing projects in the corporate world and her nights hanging out with wolf shifters and alpha males. She devours pretty much anything in the fiction line, but she prefers her romances to be hot, and her heroes to have hidden depths. When writing, she enjoys peeling back the layers to expose her characters' flaws and always makes them work hard for their happy endings.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I am a fan of Sofia's paranormal books. Her wolfies make my heart ache and my face hurt from smiling because they are so sweet and funny and gentle and sensual and I WANT ONE of my own! And Obsession nearly blew my mind the way she took everyday life and wound it in circles and mazes so complex and intriguing that I am desperately waiting for book two - Cravings - to come out SOON! I knew I would like this book because Sofia wrote it. Loving it is a bonus I enjoyed immensely.

Cass and Jonah are two people who have learned to live with the consequences of the choices they made. Both of them have been hurt in the past by life, which has matured them in completely different ways and allows them to connect on an even level, regardless of any chronological age difference.

When these two meet something pulls them to each other. There was no denying the attraction they had but neither of them expected the intensity of it - they were practically combustible! But were they good for each other? Were they good together? Simply a few of the many questions Sofia answers as she gracefully and powerfully connects these two souls.

Do they Crash Into Love? Will they crash and burn each other's lives? You have to read to find out an believe me, its worth it.

I have to say, this is one of the best novella's I have read in the Indulgence line. Right from the opening chapter it grabbed me. Sophia Grey is a new author to me and I loved her style; the story flows well, the setting is descriptively beautiful and it is filled with feeling and passion.

Crash into Love is a love story within a love story. Cass is an author, locked away in a beach house, struggling with her latest book. That is until the new neighbours arrive next door and inspiration hits her after watching the interaction between two couples and a single guy. A very sexy, silent loner named Jonah.

It is a true, passionate romance with moments that will steal breath away. I loved Cass and Jonah and their short journey. My only slight grumble (and it is slight) was the epilogue, which I would have preferred focus on Cass and Jonah, but nevertheless, if you have an hour or so and want to be swept away in a beautiful realistic holiday romance, then this is it.

I received this as an ARC courtesy of Entangled Publishing for an honest and unbiased opinion.

I'm already a big fan of Sofia Grey's--her Snowdania Wolves are tasty, and her Talisman books are the right balance of intense and sexy.

Crash Into Love is different from both, but just as fantastic. This is a shorter book, but it still kept me turning pages from the very beginning. I rarely can say this about a book, but Cass is the kind of heroine I could deeply relate to. Her insecurities, the way she dealt with her attraction to Jonah, the way she stepped up and seized what she wanted, I was worrying, and fussing, and cheering for her every step of the way.

And Jonah is so delicious. He's quiet, but passionate and strong, and so, so delicious. After this, I want a beach house and a Jonah of my very own. He's got the perfect combination of everything.

Once again, Sofia has blown me away with her writing, and I'm looking forward to more beach house books as soon as I can get my hands on them.

**A gifted copy was provided by author/publisher for an honest review**

This was a really sweet short story. Cass is going through a divorce and decided to get away to concentrate and finishing the next novel in her series. What better place to escape than to a quiet beach house. That is until a group of young friends decide that a trip to the beach would be a great way to spend the weekend. Little did Cass know that their visit would turn her plans upside-down.
Cass had obviously been in a love-less marriage for quite a while. She starts off feeling shy and reserved and ends up deciding to just go with the flow. If things don't work out - oh well. If they do - great!

I really liked this book. The only reason I can't give it a full 5-star rating is because I honestly could have done without the book-within-a-book. Instead of finishing the novel Cass came to finish, she finds some inspiration and starts another book. The author includes what Cass writes into her book. I found myself skipping over those parts to get back to Cass and Jonah. I was also a bit disappointed that the epilogue was not about Cass and Jonah. Over-all it was a great love story and I enjoyed reading it.

Every time I see a book from Entangled (a publishing company) become available to request for review on NetGalley, I immediately click it. It doesn't matter what the book is about. I have loved all of the titles that I have reviewed for Entangled. Their books are just a great fit for me. Well, I spoke too soon. I read Crash Into Love and I hated it.

I don't even know where to begin with how much I hated Crash Into Love. It reminded me of those cheesy Harlequin romance novels that I used to sneak from my mom and read when I was a teenager. The writing was just awful. The whole thing was filled with cliche after cliche. The dialogue was awkward and forced. In one scene, Cass compares Jonah's wet hair to a seal pelt. That's not sexy at all.

Speaking of sexy, one of the worst things about this book was the sex scenes. I got so bored that I found myself falling asleep through them. There was a lot more awkward dialogue that made the scenes a total turnoff. Combine that with the weird phrases she used for the act itself, and I was done. After a while, I started skipping the sex scenes all together. For those of you that know how much I love smut, you know it has to be bad for me to do that.

I have to admit, I ended up skimming the last twenty percent of the book. At that point, I didn't give a crap what happened to the characters. I just wanted it to be over. In fact, I remember telling my husband that if I had to read one more page, I was going to pluck my eyes out. Needless to say, this book wasn't for me. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
