"The story was amazing!  The chemistry between the characters was HOT and the sex scenes even HOTTER!!"-Close Encounters With The Night Kind

"Wow what a great book! The story line was amazing and I have never read an ending so shocking or like what happens at all! Very well written, sexy and steamed up my kindle." -GirlyGirl Book Reviews

"Crash Into Me is the first in the first novel in the Heart of Stone Trilogy and certainly kicked off the series with an emotional and passionate bang!...The steamy parts were deliciously steamy but not overly kinky and held more of a passionate feel. It was a welcome change...a kick ass beginning to what I'm sure will be a kick ass series!" -Read Love Blog

Wow. Probably one if the worst books I've ever read. How this got 4 1/2 stars I will NEVER understand. The plot is good and had potential but it wasn't developed well enough and was quite frankly downright bizarre in areas (what was the whole scene about watching the other couple?? That was completely out of place with the rest if the book). Neither of the characters were likable. In fact, I couldn't stand them! Tristan was an a$$ and I'm not sure why one reader described Nina as bright. WHAT?? She was one of the dumbest females leads I've ever read! And characters aside, the writing was unbelievably poor. The structure of the book itself didn't make any sense. There weren't natural breaks when there was a scene change and I had to go back and reread things several times because I got confused at what was happening. I felt like the author was all over the place much of the book.

I'm a voracious reader and I admit I'm a tough critic and I appreciate other reviews of books I'm considering next on my reading list. My suggestion to the author is to take time to develop your characters more deeply so you can connect with your audience. This was a big miss for me.

There is no denying that Tristan Stone is a powerful man - international hotel mogul, not to mention other ventures and his philanthropic interests. And, not surprisingly, he's always accompanied in public by a beautiful, elegantly dressed woman; but rarely the same woman. When he attends a show at the Anderson gallery, one would assume it's to observe the art, but Mr. Stone, it seems, has other intentions.

Nina's dream is to work in an art gallery, even if means donning a black skirt and white blouse to serve champagne and cocktail weenies to art patrons at the upscale Anderson Gallery, at least she's surrounded by what she loves. Then, surprisingly, the enigmatic Mr. Stone offers Nina the chance of a lifetime - six months working for him selecting art to finish decorating the most coveted suits in each of his prestigious hotel properties. She just has to pass one test. She'd be a fool not to accept the offer. The salary alone is more than she would make in twice that time, so of course she doesn't hesitate to sign on the dotted line, ignoring her instincts to read the fine print. When Mr. Stone begins to reveal the "other aspects" of her employment contract, Nina finds herself in a six-month commitment that goes far beyond selecting art.

Nina is a bright young woman with a lot of spunk. I think that's what drew me to her, and I know that's what draws Tristan to her as well. She's had a past filled with tragedy, loss and disappointment, so it's no wonder she has insecurities that keep her apprehensive - of herself and of Tristan Stone. As for Tristan, well, there's the man the world sees, and then there's the man he wants Nina to see.

Crash Into Me is a great book but it took me one or two chapters before I really got into it. The characters were extremely well developed but at first Tristan gave off this "creeper vibe". Eventually I could tell he cared about Nina and the creepiness faded away.

I really liked Nina but at times I didn't understand her choices. Getting into a car with a man you don't know is not smart!!! I was yelling (in my head) "Don't do it!" She had every right to be confused about Tristan because he was so hot and cold. I'm sure she had emotional whiplash. Lol

Tristan was a bit creepy beginning. I kept wondering why he would disappear so often and why he answered his phone in a different room. After a few chapters I adored him. He took amazing care of Nina and wanted to do his best and make her happy. Though in my opinion his jealousy and protectiveness got a bit out of hand.

The book had a great plot and I couldn't put it down after chapter three. I knew something was going to go wrong and when it did; Damn!! It was a huge plot twist and I kind of felt a little betrayed for her. I must go on the record and say I hate cliffhanger endings but it actually worked here. It wouldn't have worked for them to have a happy ending after Nina's world was rocked.

~Special thank you to the author for the loan of this book exchange for an honest review.~

Nina And Tristen are kind of weird. Tristen is used to be a lady's man and she is used to being invisible. An art major looking for her dream job at an art gallery. She is working for a gallery just not the job she wants. In walks Tristen with women everywhere, Nina doesn't even know who he is. Then he offers her her dream job and doesn't know what to think, cause we all know that nothing in life comes without a price. Little does she know the price is high, she doesn't even read the entire contract, until he lets her know that she is moving in for 6 months. Lots happens in this time. must read

I bought this book because of the great reviews it received and I was hugely disappointed. The first few pages started out well and went downhill from there. 1. The writing was a bit juvenile 2. there was no chemistry between the two lead characters 3. the transition between scenes did not make any sense. I was literally forcing myself to get through it, but I really couldnt. I have to wonder... who wrote these excellent reviews? Are they friends of the author? I bought this book in November and just had time to finally start reading greatest disappoinment is that I am cannot return it, since too much time has passed.
