Well, it's another good album by Die Toten Hosen. Throughout all the years, they've remained true to their punk roots no matter what the language they sing in (usually German). As a matter of fact, this band has inspired other newer acts such as The Living End, another well known alternative punk band. This recording features some good songs, such as "Pushed Again". With some tricky guitar work, and lyrics with attitude, this makes a very enjoyable album to listen to. It's really a shame the Hosen haven't released more than one album (Learning Engish: Lesson 1) in the United States.

The Hosen can be discribed as "Dropkick Murphys" meats "Deep Blue Something".

I give this five stars, without a doubt.

My german professor has introduced me to these guys. If you want a break from the typical mainstream pop music like N'Sync and Backstreet Boys, this is THE album to start with (along with Sehnsucht by Rammstein) My favorite tracks are Soul Therapy and Disneyland. I really wish these guys would release an album in this country because I beleive they will make it big.

i'm not a big fan of punk but i heard die toten hosen when i was living in germany last year thanks to my host brother. i've got a couple of their german cds which both are good. anywho on to the cd. i was excited to find out they released a cd here in the states considering we dontr get much from germany here. although its in english, it still kicks mucho. i'd definately reccommend this cd to any punk fan. every song is good. not all of my cds i can listen to the whole thing but this cd i can enjoy the whole thing without skipping a song. so...BUY IT NOW! we need to get a fan base here in the states and hopefully they'll tour here. that'd kick some. tell ur friends and ur friends' friends about them. spread the word and buy the cd!!! take care :)

Die Toten Hosen, voted Germany's top national band in 1999, has remade a few of their best songs with English lyrics, and added a few of their new songs in English, and topped it off with a pair of remixes of old songs by other bands. For this number of songs, the price is worth it, and given that this Cd is only relased in Australia, it's a definite collector's item.

Hey anyone who likes the current pop, you will love this perfect dancing, beat blasting music. You should listen to some of their music by downloading a mp3, or listening to the samples above.
