CONS: ** USELESS FOR SITTING UP or facing forward like a normal chair.

I bought this for my gamer son to keep in his room to keep him comfortable while he gamed but if he sat all the way back in it, he would be staring at the ceiling.

The instructions did indicate waiting a full 24 hours for the chair to regain shape.

i recently bought one of these at a local store, and got is set up (yeah was heavy, a pain to get out and "fluff" but over the course of 2 days and with repeated turning and beating it did fill out MOSTLY).
.
PROS:
** chair has a soft and comfortable cover fabric, cleans easily
** very comfortable as a reclined lounger, could sleep for hours on this thing. if outside, you could stare at clouds or stargaze for hours (but this is NOT outdoor weatherproof furniture - you would NOT EVER want to get this thing wet!!).
.
CONS:
** USELESS FOR SITTING UP or facing forward like a normal chair. You naturally sink back into a comfortable reclining position (well past 45degrees). Basically you're staring at the ceiling. To sit and watch a normal TV would require you to crane your neck forward at a horribly uncomfortable angle.
** Needs continual fluffing, a hassle and made more difficult due to heavy weight / bulky proportions.
** NOT A BIG CHUNK OF MEMORY FOAM - chair is made little shredded bits of memory foam, as others have stated is much like a bean-bag of memory foam peanuts.
.
RECOMMENDATION: a very bad chair, but a very comfortable reclined day bed. only consider if you are strong enough to flip / fluff easily.

Before I voice my opinion about what a terrible product this is, I have to say that Amazon.com made the experience more positive.

The minute I opened the package, I was not happy. I was expecting (as pictured), a lofty, comfy memory foam chair, but what I received was a large, flat rolled up mass. Moreover, without mention, they expect the recipient to endure in a back breaking mission to unroll, "Fluff" sit, stand, punch, flip (over 50lbs) and move the mass to decompact the crumbly foam. This was not easy or fun like what the manual drawing depicted. It is even more challenging if you are a small framed woman like myself. After doing what I could to fluff up the chair, it was still a heavy, large dilapidated eye sore. This chair (more like a large dog pad) was nothing like what the website described. Even if it puffed up, I don't see how this giant bean bag could be good back and neck support. But, the most disappointing thing was the stuffing. Its definitely not memory foam. On top of this, the outer cover was not sturdy or premium quality at all. It was cheap looking, thin and picked up all the lint from my carpet. The instructions did indicate waiting a full 24 hours for the chair to regain shape. However, despite what the manual stated, I decided to give up and return the chair. Of course, returning the item physically was a big frustrating challenge as well. Since it cannot reverse its size and fit back into the original box, I had to purchase a giant shipping box and haul it to my nearest UPS store.

In conclusion, if I knew about all the "prep" involved, the popcorn foam stuffing (NOT memory foam) and the lint magnet fabric, I would not have made this purchase.

Chair is ok when sitting in it but looks terrible when no one is on it. Extremely heavy and larger than I expected so you can't move it out of sight.

First, if you want one of these, go to Costco.

I just bought one for 39.99

Gripes:

- Bull-Pucky if this is memory foam, or if it is, it is NOTHING more than the bits and pieces from their manufacturing process. The description is HUGELY misleading.

- It is a huge pain to unpack & fluff. My hands hurt from the first two rounds

- There is NOW way on earth to repack this beast and it heavy. If we move, it goes curbside

Like it for:

- Comfy for a 14 year old
- Heck a cheap at costco then 1/3 the price on Amazon

The chair itself is pretty comfy and actually makes my back feel pretty good. As others have stated, when you open the box and pull this thing out, it is a flat and compact piece. After removing the space back style wrap on it, I started to try and "fluff" it as directed. Pretty quickly I decided that this was not going to work very well. I decided instead to unzip each of the two compartments that hold the foam inside and break it down with my hands. It appears that the zipper handles are broken off, not sure if by design or if it was just mine. I got out a needle nose plier to pull it back and then used a couple of paperclips as makeshift zipper handles. I would suggest leaving leaving it zipped at least an inch or so, so that the zipper doesn't separate...this happened to me an I had to rethread it. This easily saved me a ton of time, strain and frustration. Now if you decide to use this tactic as well, be prepared to get some foam pieces around your floor which you will have to vacuum up later.

After about 20 minutes of carefully breaking down all of the foam chunks into small pieces, I zipped it up and the chair was ready to shape. It actually shaped up pretty nicely from the start and immediately my 4 year old son jumped in for a crash landing...lol. I think it's a keeper and it will mostly be used by my son to read his books or use his hand held games on.

It claims to retain it's shape. We opened this up on December 25th and as of December 27th, it is just a big, ball to sit on. We followed all of the steps to no avail. It has no high back as it claims. This was a $100 bean bag chair. I bought this for my gamer son to keep in his room to keep him comfortable while he gamed but if he sat all the way back in it, he would be staring at the ceiling. Very sad and disappointed with this product. The reason I am not giving this 1 star is because the cover is very comfortable. This item is not what it claimed to be. Completely false advertising.
