I ordered this game the first day it came out in the US (over 2 years ago) I just figured I'd give a quick review now that I see it's back in stock. The visuals of this game are great. When the cars get smashed it's very realistic looking and the tracks & arenas have a fair amount of detail as well. The single player is short but the multiplayer is great if you can find someone online to play with. The modes are

Career mode - self explanatory

Hold the Flag - hold the "flag" (giant smiley face balloon) & drive through the most checkpoints to win, ram the holder to steal it.

Pass the bomb - Pass the bomb from your car to another whilst the times runs down, person holding it when it reaches zero gets blown up.

Bomb run - Keep your car over a certain speed or it will blow up, the speed increases after every checkpoint, survive for as long as possible.

Stunt show - Impress the crowd with insane stunts, huge jumps and spectacular crashes.

Racing - All out racing against other opponents.

Wrecking Match - A Demo Derby with rockets & mini guns.

plus a bunch more!

The game is different. Based on destruction and the better you are at it, the better you do in the game. Graphics are poor. Game play is just ok. Something to do for a day.

When I received this game I was excited about it as the screenshots online looked very realistic. Playing this game, I found this game needed some work on the physics of car crashes. The impact of the vehicles weren't realistic at all, the collisions felt more like you were playing bumper cars than experiencing a real crash between two vehicles. The guns and missles add a certain arcade style to this game I did not like. Some tracks are difficult to maneveur around as well. All in all I think they need to hit the drawing board on this one and take some notes from a solid game like "Flatout 2", which is a much more impressive game to play than this title.
