The picture makes this thing look waaaaaay nicer than it is... the 'cover' is actually a fitted sheet that doesn't fasten on the bottom, so you have to tuck it under the bottom of the crate. The 'bumper' doesn't fit snugly (yes, I got the correct size for the crate I have) & it sags on the sides.... a nice little invitation for my dog to chew it up basically. The mat is Okay, but not the most cushy, comfy one in the world. Overall, I am so mad that I wasted so much money on this!!!!!!!

We used to sleep our Boston Terrier in a travel kennel but we decided he need a little more leg room. We got him a wire crate and a Cratewear set. He used to go to his crate reluctantly at night but now, as soon as he sees his nighttime treat, he bolts into his crate, sits, and waits.

We've always given him a treat before bed but he still didn't seem happy to crate up. Now, even when I open the door for him in the morning he just kinda stares at me. "Um, dude, could you come back in half an hour or so? I'm too comfy to get up just yet."

We're rescuing a cocker mix this June and she'll get the same set up.

The only thing that brings it down from 5 Starts is that it's a little expensive for canvas and foam. Also the bumper straps, which are designed to attach above the horizontal crate wires, are immoble. Which means (on some crates) the bumper doesn't reach down to the pad. Small gripe.

Since dogs are part of the family, they should have a place where the family hangs out. The crate cover made the crate look very nice. The whole 3 pc set is machine washable. The bed provides a decent amount of cushioning, though as my dog gets older (she's 7), I may have to add another pad underneath it. Be warned that the cover will shrink. I've washed it 3 times so far and it shrunk a little each time. When it was brand new, it covered my 42 inch crate perfectly. Now, the cover is 1-1.5 inches short, but still better than without.

The only nice thing about this package is the fabric that goes over the crate. Even that is too small, but it works fairly well. The bumper pad only has tiny place to secure it to the crate, so it slides down and bunches up. The pad that goes at the bottom is way too small, and it bunches up whenever our dog moves around so he ends up just laying on the plastic crate. Very cheaply made, would not recommend. Would have been much better off continuing to use a sheet over the crate instead of wasting money on this.

This product looks great and washes very well BUT the bottom pad is way too thin..poor Pups...I had to buy a separate pillow to go underneath!

This was a great cover/pad for my dogs crate. The cover is nice to hide the crate, and the pad inside is nicely padded. I have an older dog so she does not jump or really move around in her crate when she's sleeping. So the bumper (which is held up by velcro) has stayed in place. I can see though how a small puppy or more hyper dog could easily take down the padded bumper when scratching or bitting at it. But there are no problems for me and my dog loves it!!

I had purchased this Khaki Classic Cratewear set years ago from a local pet store and it was great! This is a must if you have your crate inside it provides a den like place for your dog to relax in and it looks nice. This fabric washes well so if you have the need to clean it don't worry follow instructions. After checking the pet stores in the area I was unable to locate this Cratewear until I checked on Amazon and found it not only in the size I needed but it cost about $30.00 less!

This is a product that is pretty much as advertised. The pad is soft and thick. The denim fabric looks nice, although it's pretty thin. It would be nice if the crate drape could be fastened in place, perhaps w/straps across the bottom. The bumper inside doesn't hold up to much tugging and would do better with a more durable fastening system. Notwithstanding those criticisms, if you have a well-behaved dog, I would recommend this product.

HOWEVER, If you have a crazy puppy like mine, save your money. My 8 month old Boxer puppy literally destroyed this set within the first day. She shredded the pad and little puffs of fiberfill were all over the place. She pulled the edges of the crate drape cover into the crate and shredded that as much as she could. The bumpers are still intact, but only because I removed them pretty quickly. The shredded crate cover (all that I have left of this set) looks just as bad as the old sheets I was using as a crate cover before! Not a wise purchase on my part.

We purchased this exact crate cover almost 2 years ago, after learning we were having a baby. We wanted to make sure our poor baby "Scrappy" (a Cairn terrier) would have his own private retreat if the coos and crying of a newborn became much too unbearable.

From the beginning, "Scrappy" never took to his crate; even though it was never used for punishment and always accessible, in a neutral (yet within close proximity to the family) area. Once the cover, pad and bumper were installed, he immediately went inside to investigate his new digs. Boy did he have fun tearing it out! However, after the novelty wore off (about a day later) we suddenly found ourselves asking each other "Have you seen the dog?" because he wasn't sleeping in his usual spots (under the bed, in the laundry basket, on the couch, in our bed). Ever single time we checked the crate Scrappy was passed out, with legs up in the air!

The cover, bumper and pad are all made of high quality material. The bumper has Velcro straps that attach to the sides of the crate and the cover drapes over the crate for easy removal. The pad has a nice thickness, although our spoiled boy requires an additional pad for extra comfort. We have washed/dried the bedding numerous times in these two years and it still looks like new. The cover also helps make an unsightly crate look nice. I have recommended this set to many dog owners and they love it as well.

i was strict with my pup's crate training, so he never really complained about being crated at night. he liked his own little room. but once i put this set on his crate, he absolutely fell in love! it makes his crate so comfy and cozy and shuts out light. it's like a warm little den. he did NOT want to get out in the morning anymore! even after i opened the door, he would lay in there and take his sweet time getting out. i highly recommend it. good fit. easy to install. stands up to washing.
