I've enjoyed this author's work often, in multiple volumes of BEST LESBIAN EROTICA and many other anthologies of erotica and speculative fiction, but she still manages to amaze me with the range and depth of her imagination.

As I read the book, I kept thinking "This story's my favorite--no, this one," and eventually found it hard to even to choose one science fiction, one fantasy, and one "real world" piece to rank over the others. There are so many good ones. I did especially enjoy the futuristic "The Old Spies Club", the medieval fantasy "By the Winding Mere", the surreal--or is it?--"Emily Says", and the poignantly realistic "An Evening in Esteli". On my next reading, though, I could just as easily pick out others. CRAVE is definitely a book worth reading, and rereading.

I have yet to read something by Catherine Lundoff and not be left spellbound. She breathes life into her characters and makes you feel the same passion, lust, and yearning that they do. Do not hesitate to pick up this latest book by a truly talented author.

I enjoyed these short stories quite a bit. I read this after Lundoff's newer collection 'A Day at the Inn, A Night at the Palace and Other Stories' which I really enjoyed as well ('A Day at the Inn..' is not erotica).

This is a fun collection - her stories are more fulfilling than those you usually find in the category of erotica. They contain hot sex but there are thought provoking plots as well as interesting characters. I never felt that the plot was there just to hang sex scenes on, consequently each story is much hotter than a lot of the erotica out there.
