More About the Author

Hello All! Thank you so much for visiting my author page. I love hearing from readers so please feel free to contact me either on my facebook page or twitter with any questions or comments.

I live in the suburbs of New York with my lovely wife and two amazing children. I began writing creatively as a teenager and have been fortunate enough to have written and produced several successful plays and musicals in the NY area. I earned my B.A. and M.S. from Dowling College. Currently, I'm a professional musician on the weekends and an author during the week.

The Stritonoly Chronicles is probably my favorite work so far. They begin with the book, "The Eye of the Storm." I like the fact that these books do not comfortably fit into one particular genre. The trilogy is not at all a typical sci-fi/fantasy.

My hope is to have a new novel out before the end of the summer. I am working on a mystery/thriller and I am having a blast with it!

HAPPY READING!

William L.K. creates some delightful characters in this fun vampire story. It was a short but satisfying read with a few clever twists. A very good story to curl up under the covers to. For me, it was the perfect length and had just enough of the classic paranormal elements without going overboard. I enjoyed it a great deal and will recommend it to others.

When Elise passionately reunites with Liam, her "maker," after an absence of 30 years, she finds that his plans for them have changed. He is no longer willing to make her his life partner.

William L.K. spins a spellbinding nugget of a tale, full of passion, drama, and unexpected twists. Pour yourself a glass of wine, put your feet up, and immerse yourself in this short 8,500 word story. I can't help but hope that the author considers turning this into a full novel.

I was given a complimentary copy by the author for review, and would first like to say thank-you for the opportunity to read it.
To be honest I prefer my vampires to have a less romantic quality and be a bit more bloodthirsty and vicious. However, that being said it was still a well written and enjoyable story. I would recommend it for fans of paranormal romance.

I was given a complimentary copy by the author for review, and would first like to say thank-you for the opportunity to read it through bookroosters.com. I really enjoyed the love story within the book but I would have like the story to have been more detailed with the relationship between Elise and Liam. I would have liked to have more of a connection to them. Over all it was a good book. It kept me interested and I finished it rather quickly. If you want a book to read quick I would recommend it!

There was a terrific old-world feel to this story that brought to mind the classic Dracula, but the ending of Cravings took me by surprise. If I have any complaint, it's that the story left me wanting more. Bravo, William L.K.

This story is short, easy to read in 20 minutes, but that doesn't mean it doesn't deliver. William L.K. gives tantalizing details of the vampires and in such a way that you are able to understand some of what they get into. He gives the characters true spirit which can be difficult in shorter stories. While the language is a bit much to chew at times, and all the characters seem to speak in a stiff proper language, it doesn't detract from the compelling story given here. I read this complimentary copy so I could review it.

Liam is a vampire from the old school. His lover, Elise, has betrayed him. She has taken a mortal lover and given him her heart. Liam cannot forgive and will not tolerate what she has done. Before he left, he promised to make her a full fledged vampire upon his return. Unfortunately, her betrayal is not without consequences. No amount of begging or pleading on her part will get her back in Liam's good graces. What are the consequences of her actions?
This is a different and unique take on the vampire genre. This is William LK's first stab at the vampire genre and I think he has something here. My only complaint is that it was not long enough. I could easily see a full length novel with these characters. You don't see alot of fighting and fang biting in this story. Some have mentioned the romance. I didn't get romance from the story. I saw more lust especially on Elise's part and it seemed to be in an attempt to get what she wanted. The storyline flowed very nicely from the beginning to the end until reaching a surprise ending. This was a short, fast read that is easily read in one sitting. If you are into the vampire genre or just like a quick read, this is the book for you.
I wish to thank the author for loaning me the book to read and review. I was not required to write a positive review. I was not compensated in anyway except for being provided the book to review.
