I was born and raised in New Orleans & daughter of a full-blooded Cajun who spoke Cajun French all her life...and to say I LOVE this book is an understatement. I wish my mom was still around to read the French part to my grandsons. Thanks Todd for a beautiful book that will be cherished and passed on.

This book is absolutely adorable and one of several of Todd-Michael's childrens books that I own. I bought an autographed copy for myself and can see that I'm going to have to order more for my grandchildren. I love the way he mentions so much of South Louisiana's culture and the illustrations are adorable. Congrats again on another great write!

The Crawfish Family Band is a children's book yes but when you open the pages and read Todd's amazing story and see the FABulous illustrations by Cherie Langford well need I say more. To me it is a book for all ages. It is a feel good story-lift the spirit book. It makes you want to Fais Do Do (Cajun Dance). It is a filled with fun times while the Crawfish Family Band jams the June bugs, frogs,turtles,pelicans, gators, oysters, shrimp and crab stomp to their music. No there is no record inside this book but I promise you by page two the music will be playing in your head and you will be dancing the day and night away. A delightful Summer Read. Best yet: a tiny Cajun glossary of a few Cajun words. EnJOY~
