If you hate to fight pegboard hooks that keep falling out this is the answer. I was about to dump all peg board & hooks I had till I gave this keeper a try & they work great, BUT the store I purchased them from did not have there act together with online sales, big delay in shipping and when I asked where they were they blamed the computer, (garbage in garbage out) and they never got shipped out of the warehouse till after the date I was supposed to have received them.

Sure these are nice, but you lose two holes using the peg lock.
Just use a nylon zip tie to strap the peg to the board for a system that won't pop out.
Only thing is you have to have access to the rear of the board.
This is done by a simple hinge design.

Plastic locks do not secure hooks well enough, they keep falling out of the peg board holes. Another buyer
suggested heating them up and bending them before the locks become rigid again. This worked well..... thanks for
the tip.

Bottom line---they just don't work. They pop out of the standard 1/4" pegboard. They're ridiculously overpriced & now I'm stuck with 'em! Don't waste your money. Now, to find another solution for keeping those dad-gum hooks in the pegboard! Maybe I can invent something....

Peg locks are a MUST HAVE for anyone who organizes with pegboard. These inexpensive, tiny strips of plastic clip over the pegboard hooks to hold them onto the board, eliminating the tendency of the hooks to come out of the board.

I've always used pegboard to organize hand tools and supplies for easy access in the garage, garden area, and sewing/craft room. I've spent countless hours on my hands and knees looking for hooks that were flung across the room (often into a black hole, never to be seen again) when I grabbed tools off the board. After vowing to stop spending half my life looking for things, I kept a drawer full of replacement hooks that I then spent hours fruitlessly sifting through. Until, a few years ago, I discovered peg locks. Results: no more searching and an empty drawer. Nowadays, each time I pull a tool off the pegboard, I am consciously aware of, and grateful for, the wonders of peg locks.

Product works great on certain pegs and not at all on other pegs. Product can definitely be improved.

These peg locks didn't work with any of my pegs from the Neiko 50-Piece Peg Board Set. The locks don't lock down at all over the pegs. I ordered two sets and I have no use for them.

They work ok, will do the job, but do not fit my 1/8 peg board real snug. First shipment, only received 15 locks in my package, but Ace Direct responded very quickly with another package of locks, extremely happy with their response to my complaint.

My husband ordered these clips to create a jewelry rack for our daughter that is made of peg-board. She wanted to hang necklaces from the hooks. These clips allow you to "clamp" those pegs in so that when you go to grab something from them (like a necklace or bracelet) you don't pull the peg off that peg board. After seeing what they can do, my husband is planning to order several more for his own garage peg board so that grabbing his tools won't result in pegs falling to the floor. What a great product! The kicker is we tried to find these at a large home-store and they only sell them in conjunction with more pegs, which we didn't need. As always, we found our needs met at AMAZON and at a great price to boot. This is our new-best-shopping-place EVER!!

I've purchased these before a couple years ago. This time I bought 4 pkgs, and was disappointed. The pieces are now thinner and have mold flashing at the seams. The prongs that do the job of holding onto the peg board are smaller, and do not do a very good job. I would return them, but the cost of shipping and my time handling them again would not be worth it. Live and learn.
