4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic heavy song with some great extras!
This song is one of linkin park's best singles with two great songs crawling and papercut. they are both fantastic heavy songs and papercut has some tight, fast rapping on it. the backstage footage is funny and overall this cd is good, although i would recommend you buy the album, as two songs is quite short and takes a bit of value for money away. thats the only reason...

3.0 out of 5 stars NOT AS GOOD AS ''ONE STEP CLOSER''
THIS SONG IS OK. BUT, IT'S NOT REALLY THE KIND OF SONG YOU'D LISTEN TO OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THE SONG HAS GOOD VOCALS BY SHINODA & CHESTER, AND IT HAS COOL GUITAR WORK. IT'S AN OK SONG FOR THOSE WHO LIKE LINKIN PARK. THIS IS ANOTHER SONG OFF OF THE BAND'S DEBUT ALBUM ''HYBRID THEORY''.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the money, May 5, 2001

This single starts out with one of Linin Park's best songs, Crawling. Even better, Linkin Park fans, is track number 2: Papercut - Live From The BBC. This version is intense, and quite different than the album version. I can't stop listening to it. Not going to go into too much detail, but this is one of the best CDs I've got. Not only does it have those 2 tracks, but it has tons of behind the scenes footage as an enhanced CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably LP's Most Respected Single, June 24, 2005
This award winning single, not only ruled as a song but as a music video. The video would later bring LP a Grammy, shows how much power this single had and still has today. Some behind the scenes footage that every fan will love, Papercut live is also a great track. Very well done.

Not much to say bout 'Hybrid Thoery' except its absolutely brilliant! Crawlin is an absolutely amazin, super emotion charged single and one of my top ten records of last year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why do I give it 4 stars? This is why..., June 25, 2006
A Kid's Review
I definetly like crawling but I don't really like Papercut.(I like the live version even less). Although it's still pretty good. The songs are rated:

Crawling-great song. I love the chorus:

Crawling in my skin

These wounds they will not heal

Fear is how I fall

Confusing what is real.[5/5]

Papercut[live in BBC Center]-Not great. Rap song with rock in the chorus.[3/5]

If you're a hardcore LP fan like me, I advise you to get One Step Closer instead. The album gets 3 and a half out of 5.

5.0 out of 5 stars crawling, October 24, 2005
With Linkin Park's breakout debut CD, "Hybrid Theory", came this single, and it rocks! Chester's voice on "Crawling", in my opinion, is how he should sound on all of his songs- perfect. This CD also contains their song "Papercut" live from the BBC.

(Just a note for the dumbass who put that "Papercut" is a brand new song: "Papercut" is the first track on "Hybrid Theory", you dumbf*ck...)

Overall rating 5/5 two of their best songs on a demo fit for a king.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!, October 11, 2002
This is an amazing single!
Out of 9 reviews Crawling got
8 - 5 stars
1 - star (this guy said it was a 'tight track' but he is strictly rap/r&b...so he didn't actually not like the song)

The guitars are great, the bass was brilliant, the drum beat was SO cool and original, you could play it over over just listening to it...Chester Bennington's vocals are fabulous, emotional, and heartfelt...The best LP song to date.......
