This review is from: Crayola 30ct Twistables Colored Pencils (Toy)
Coloring is a daily activity at our house and my daughter used to prefer the markers, probably because the colors are so vibrant. I hate the markers because they end up all over her and everything else. I bought these colored pencils and we are really happy with them. You get great colors. Color hard and you get vibrant shades that rival markers. I was really surprised that you get such good color from a colored pencil. But, like regular colored pencils you can also color lightly and you get a lighter shade from the same pencil (which my daughter thinks is really cool). That makes it great for the little ones, but also good for the older ones that have a little more artistic flair and use shading. The hard plastic barrel makes them nearly impossible to break. The twisting means no sharpening, again making it easy for the little ones. And the best part is no mess. It doesn't get all over the kids' hands or bleed through the paper. We have only had these a week, but my daughter hasn't gotten out her markers since she opened the Twistables Colored Pencils.
