This review is from: Crayola 52-0029 Crayola 150-Count Telescoping Crayon Tower, Storage Case, Sharpener (Toy)
There are indeed 150 unique crayons in this tower, including some neat glitter and metallic crayons. It includes a nice sharpener. My only beef is that they could have made the telescoping aspect a bit more stable, but it's pretty easy to put up and down. Other than that, it's a great way to store crayons so they don't break. My 2-1/2 year old loves it. It's also perfect for a group of kids at a table.

I've bought 2 Sets of this 150 count crayola crayon tower. There ARE 150 different colors. Some of them have similar colors; except some are gels, metallic & glitter. The gels are a creamy/smooth texture when you color. The metallics have a nice creamy shimmery texture. The glitters have the regular crayola quality just bits of glitter come out when you color. When I bought them some of the crayons looked the same until I used them on white paper. My friend & I had a blast trying out my kids crayons. I bought a second tower for her kids. They were just too much fun!!! Like I said some of the crayons look the same until you try them out. The only ones that are somewhat repeated are the gels, metallics & glitters. ie: lets say there's a regular purple, then there's a metallic purple, glitter purple & a gel purple. So yes it's a repeated color but not exactly. The main repeats are the primary colors, but they are repeated as gels, metallics & glitters. I highly recommend them. My daughters play with them every chance they get.

This is a great way to see all your crayon options...and there are a lot of options. My daughter loves having all those crayons at her fingertips. A little pricey for crayons, though--unlike another reviewer, we found it for less at Target. And while the telescoping idea is great, it's too hard for my 3 and 4 year olds to get it up and down by themselves. Also, I assumed that it came with a fitted hard plastic lid, but it just has a flimsy throw-away lid which doesn't do much to protect the crayons or prevent spills.
