My mom was too poor to buy me awesome name brand crayons like all the other kids had when I was little. Now that im all grown up and dont have to steal the worn out ones from Pizza Hut I bought my very own box. Its a little harder to stay in between the lines with your pinky up due to the fancyness of these Crayolas but im hoping my skills will improve with time.
PS. there arent even 24 colors in the rainbow! Crayola has done it again with their wizardry.

My box did arrive with a few broken tips from shipping so it may be better to buy local.

These are the off-to-school crayons of choice to put in that brand new backpack, but also those that preschoolers love to use. This pack of Crayolas offers a much wider variety of colors than the standard pack that was once offered. There are numerous "stain tips" offered up on the Internet just in case you are worried about your youngster coloring everything in sight.

For example, Reader's Digest suggests that if your child decides to color a mural on your walls you do have an option.
"You've tried everything to get it off, but not this: an eraser. Try "erasing" the crayon marks to get the wall back to a clean slate." Back to the colors. This pack has a nice variety that I'll list below.

COLORS:

* Indigo
* Apricot
* Cerelean
* Blue-violet
* Blue-green
* Carnation pink
* Yellow-green
* Yellow-orange
* Violet-red
* Scarlet
* Green-Yellow
* Dandelion
* Violet (purple)
* Orange
* Yellow
* Red-violet
* Red-orange
* Blue
* Red-orange
* Green
* Gray
* White
* Black
* Brown

If you are a classroom teacher gearing up for the return of your students, I would recommend considering the Crayola 832ct Classpack with sixteen colors. This also includes thirteen crayon bins and two large multi-holed erasers. This twenty-four pack has non-toxic crayons that are a must for children heading back to school and also for the preschooler who is just learning to draw and color!

I'm a graduate student who spends a lot of time reading technical articles. I like to print on both sides of the page to save paper, and hate it when highlighters bleed through. I've found that these crayons present a simple, affordable, and just plain happy solution to this problem. I keep this box of crayons in my purse and a larger box on my desk. They're wonderful for highlighting the closely spaced type in scientific journals, knocking out some quick diagrams while developing a new algorithm, and stress relief. I love these crayons, and recommend them for scientists of all ages :)

Crayola crayons are always great.

My review is to acknowledge that the supplier got them to me very quickly, and the price was wonderful. I ordered a large supply for our local Food Bank: they give backpacks to schools for homeless or very poor kids, so the kids won't be embarrassed at accepting charity-food, and they try to include school supplies such as crayons, markers, pencils, pads & so on. With such a good price I was able to get 48 boxes of 24 crayons, and have money left over for markers and some other supplies.

This is the first year we were required by the school district to buy the 24 package of crayons for the students. Honestly, I've tried all those offbeat brands and nothing works like Crayola. I even buy these for the Shoeboxes that we send overseas with Franklin Graham's ministry. They hold up better, don't flake all over the place, the kid's clothes, etc., and the children just prefer the colors of these compared to the knock-offs. Kudos to Crayola - they've been making the best for years and no one has ever figured out how to make them better, because you can't! Highly recommend!

I forgot to buy in bulk this year during back-to-school sales in August/Sept. I was happy to find these 24 packs x 48 at this price in the middle of the school year. I have only seen packs of 16 go for $0.25 each; not the 24 packs. By the time our school started in August this year, the crayons had not been reduced enough for me to stock pile the good deals. My school ordered crayons for us but they hadn't arrived in time for the first day (Usually, we get 8 large crayons per child for the first half of the year and later we get packs of 16 standard crayons for after Christmas vacation). Therefore, I purchased a lesser brand of crayons that were the most reduced at the time. You cannot begin kindergarten without crayons and I didn't want to greet happy little faces with broken crayons left over from last year as other teachers decided to do until they got the new ones. Though I had taught grades 1-4 separately throughout 35 years, I had never taught kindergarten. I found that gray is important and none of the crayons supplied to us offered gray. So I combed the internet and found a bulk supply (rare and not cheap) of large gray crayons and this middle of the year bulk of 24 crayon packs that include gray. Further, I found 16 count boxes of large crayons from Walmart (2 boxes for $6.00). I have never seen these in stores. I discovered good deals on large and standard multicultural crayons at various on line sites. I never tire of handling crayons, and the smell of new crayons is intoxicating. I send out notes to the parents to know where to buy more variety of crayons, etc. These families are poor so they rarely buy these new varieties. Good prices are important, but price is not as important as supplying my students with more than 8 large or 16 standard crayons. So, I simply try to find the best deals and buy what my students need to enjoy coloring with the best crayon tools that I can afford. I came into kindergarten this year believing that K students wouldn't be able to draw and color nearly as well as my past older students. Boy was I wrong! I have amazing artists and coloring geniuses that have more ability than me. They come up with color combinations I have never even considered. All I had to do was teach them how to color neatly and to supply them with more variety of colors, and they have taken this guidance to impressive levels. Teaching kindergarten is the most fun I have had in years! I've spent time and money to find new variations: glitter crayons, FX crayons, neon crayons, colored pencils, individual sharpeners, etc. It has been worth it! I will keep track of what Toys & Gifts, Inc. offers. My crayons arrived quickly enough and in perfect condition.

The crayons are great, like most crayola products, the colors are beautiful and as long as they don't
enter a child's drooling mouth, seem to last without breaking

I love crayola crayons! I do not like the "off" brands, so I was very happy to find these that I could buy by the case. I am an Episcopal priest & I'd found a coloring book about the symbols of Christmas... So, obviously, I needed crayons... And then cute little plastic reindeer bags ... And then a candy cane in each bag. The look on the children's faces when I offered them this gift as they were leaving Christmas services was adorable! AND I offered a bag to each day of the older kids (middle school, high school & college) & their faces lit up like you wouldn't believe. Seems the love of coloring is something shared by many generations!

My daughter loves Craola crayons! They are fun and artistic. I have no idea how many crayola crayons would have passed through my home in past 10 years. They are delightful and fun.

Pricey but it's worth the money. I usually am a thrifty shopper, comparing one product to another. I don't like sticking with brand names but with a couple dimes extra, the quality is superior compared to other brands.
