this is my 18 month playing playing with this product. By watchin the video you can tell she is having a lot of fun. yea she don't put it on the paper the best and she gets a little bit too much on her fingers, but i think the ~ten dollars is worth the half hour or more of play time and the learning she gets out of drawing, and just having fun.

My daughter is 2 1/2 and loves to draw. When i found the color wonder finger paints she was sooo excited! the finger paints are clear then change color when it hits the special paper. But the paint is like a gel and she puts WAY to much on her finger that it just glops on the paper..and of course there are no refills for this pack so u have to spend another $[...] for more....it was good for all of 10 mins then she ran out of paint :( not a happy camper

I have tried several of the color wonder products with my 2 year old son. I do like that they only work on the special paper so they are safe to use indoors without much worry. I was not too thrilled with this paint though. You get very little paint for the price you pay, and it's a weird consistancy, almost like hair gel. My son also had a hard time figuring out which color paint was in each container, since you have to push the lid down to see the top of it. I think he wasted more paint than he put on the paper. I also didn't think that the finger cleaning sponge worked very well.I will not buy this product again. I would rather just use regular finger paints outside.

I was very optimistic about this product. Fingerpainting without the mess--yippee! However, the other reviewers are right: there's not enough paint. Even when I was 'helping' I found it hard to gauge how much I had because it was clear. Also, in my package, the color never really developed vividly on the paper. It was slow to develop and when it did, it was very light. I called Crayola to complain and they are sending me a coupon for the purchase price. Thanks Crayola.

I was excited when I found this, because my two year old LOVES to paint, but it's so messy! There isn't much paint in the tubs, and the consistency is a thick gel. It's hard for little ones to only use a little paint, so they end up globbing the whole tub onto the paper! My other complaints are that the paint takes forever to dry and the colors don't show up instantly. It's okay, but not worth the money in my opinion.

My super messy kids love this stuff. I keep it in a drawer that they can access any time. It usually comes out on rainy days when they aren't allowed outside to play with real finger paints. Yes, the stuff is greasy, goopy, and takes a bit to show up on the paper. You also can't really tell what color is on your hand. But it's mess free, pretty cheap, and fun! A great option if you don't want to do deal with the clean up.

My 4 yr old is very artistic and i was excited to get this for her. The colors are not very bright, takes too long to show up, and is too goopy. You end up with globs of paint on the paper, unless you are very careful (and most kids are not careful). She was ready to put it away after about 5 min. what a waste of money!

My 2 year old just played with it and liked it, but because the paint is more like a gel, she took way too much to use each time (and after every finger stroke she refilled). The colors were pretty, and showed up like invisible ink, about 1 second after she touched paper. I don't think my daughter was anymore entertained than she would regular finger paint, so I wouldn't buy this again. It will probably last for one more use. Not sure if is actually stain-safe on fabrics and furniture, but it is messy anyway. My daughter got it all over her clothes and the table more than she does fingerpaint, maybe the texture made her play with it more? And the paper took forever to dry because it was covered in gel blobs.Good in theory, not in reality though. Maybe she is too young for this particular item, or maybe a brush would have been good to use.

The paints are a vaseline-like consistency that the kids rub into the paper. They take longer to dry than normal finger paints, and they don't mix to create new colors like normal paints. Clean up is a breeze, and the final images are cute. Just like the markers, the colors take a moment before showing up on the paper. Daughter loves them, intend to use it all up :)

Great toy. My two year old loves this. The colors do take a couple seconds to show up but she hardly noticed. She made handprints, footprints, and drawings. She loved every minute of it. The paint does run out semi-quickly but not before she made about 6 pages of great stuff. Definitely gonna buy more of this.
