....at less than $50.00 per classroom set (52 sets of 16 colors) I figure the price per set to be about $.96 per set....how does someone figure each set to cost $3.00????...am I missing something?

This is over $3.00 per box. I'm a teacher and love the concept. However, with budgets being so tight and most supplies coming from our own pockets this price is way too much. An individual 24ct box of crayons should never cost more than $2. During Back to School sales they can be found in major retail stores for $.25.
