Most of my daughters toys are played with a few times and then forgotten, minus stuffed animals :D She mostly just 'reads' books and colors during the day when we aren't outside. When I saw the Color Me A Song, I just knew it would be perfect for her, because she LOVES coloring and music. I'm not sure about the other reviewer getting markers in hers, but the Color Me A Song is supposed to come with several triangular shaped crayons, which are great because they don't roll of the table :D They are easy for her and my 3 year old to hold. I also love the tray that you can keep the crayons in when not in use, so when we take it with us, I don't have to bring the crayon box too. To my surprise, my 3 year old, very active son also loves this toy. It has held up well, esp. since they both use it at the same time and will snatch it from each other, hehe. I couldn't have made a better investment, imo.

kept both twins busy and happy for several days but put aside for now as they need supervision with crayons right now and no time. Paper holder is inefficient for younger kids; crayon drawer came out, can't get it back... however they are still intrigued by the music and the way it speeds up with action on the drawing pad, as well as the unusual long-playing music, compared with so many toys with quick takes on tunes. 1 of them is particularly into music and much enjoys this. may be better appreciated when they are a bit older.

This looked great on television and in the video on Crayola's website, but it isn't that great out of the box. Yes it plays music and the speed changes as you color, but the paper doesn't stay in it very well and my son gets very frustrated with it when the paper rips or falls out. Needless to say he has colored all over the board itself. It cleans up easily, but seriously what's the point. It's also difficult to get the drawer in and out and the crayons can get jammed in it if they aren't laid in it flat. Something that can sometimes elude a little person. Ours is currently collecting dust.
