These are wonderful for young kids. Markers only mark on special paper so there is no mess. I wish the paper was in a spiral bound book though. My only major gripe, after buying it I found it at several stores for much less than the cost on Amazon. Live and learn!

I bought two of these for my twin nieces and I don't know who was happier-- the kids or my sister. The markers only write on the paper, which is cool. The tip broke off of one of them, though. Having said that, the kids press down pretty hard and, so far, that's been the only casualty.

My oldest loves the Color Wonder system. The markers only work on the Color Wonder paper, so he can create his masterpieces without the extra mess, which is good for me.

This is a great toy for messy artists and their parents!

The color wonder markers seemed like a great "starter" marker for my toddler. A marker that only works on special paper? Yes, please! But what I found is that there is a 2-3 second delay in the clear ink changing to the color, that my child got a little annoyed. Also, you can only use one side of the paper, so there was half as much drawing space as I thought there would be (we always, turn it over and keep drawing with normal paper.) My son, who is almost 2, had trouble putting the caps back on the markers, so we'll just have to put these away for a few more months and try again later.

I could see this being great for school-age kids, but maybe not so great for toddlers.

bought this product for my granddaughter for christmas and it is great. She loves to draw but has a tendency to mark on other thing. This product solves that problem. I can put her in a room and not worry about her marking on the wall, ect. love this and keeps her busy for hours.

18 month old daughter loves it. She usually holds a marker by the ink right away, so at least this one doesn't stain her or her clothes. Great product!

These color wonder products are great! These markers only work on this paper, it's fantastic! It's great for kids who haven't learned not to write on walls or just have a tendency to be a little messy when drawing.

Great for little kids. you dont have to worry about them writting on the walls.

I got these markers for my 18 month old. I know she is below the recommended age, but she loves to color and we just got a new house with white everywhere, so I thought I couldn't go wrong with these! I was wrong.

The colors are very dull and not true to the lid color. Not at all as nice as the other crayola colors. It takes a few seconds for the color to appear after you color. This few seconds was too long for my daughter. Once the color showed up, she didn't make the connection between her coloring and the color that appeared 3 seconds later.

I am an art professor and so is my husband, and I found it hard to stay in the lines while coloring because of the delay. This is pretty ironic and hysterical, but I could have paid the same amount of money on real art supplies with real results. All we got out of this gift was some huge laughs about how even professional artists couldn't operate these markers!

Buy your kiddo some washable markers and regular paper instead.
