5.0 out of 5 stars I am an art teacher, and I LOVE these crayons., June 16, 2009

I can't for the life of me imagine why Crayola hasn't released them in every craft store on the planet. I use them SO much in my elementary art room. They rival Sharpies in my heart for the title of Awesomest Drawing Utensil. The color palette is limited in such a way that they look wonderful together, no matter how they are combined. They look super cool on black paper. I did a rocket unit with my kindergarteners, and used this for planets and stars, and it was stinkin' cute. I've also used them to draw on collages and brown paper bags with charming results. My only complaint, and this is a small one- is that there isn't a real, straight-up red. There's a dark, fuchsia like pink, and a bright, coral kind of color that's reddish at best. As far as I'm concerned, they should just make all the regular crayons construction paper style.

How dissapointing to finally find these Crayola Construction Paper Crayons my 8 year old daughter has been begging for and to find out Amazon is really not carrying them. I have tried to order and get to the last step of my checkout only to find they are "out of stock" when Amazon shows them IN STOCK from the onset. What is going on? Crayola is the one losing on this one!
