5.0 out of 5 stars No mess painting
The preschoolers next door often come over to "help" me with my chores. One day I was painting the bathroom walls and I let them help. They have never forgotten that and are constantly asking me to let them paint. In the summer, I give them water and a paintbrush and let them "paint the house" but now that it's winter it's time for indoor activities. I purchased these...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as other Color Wonder products
My three artistic boys love to color and draw, and this was a hit at Christmas time. But it lasted only about ten minutes, and they were done. The paint brushes tend to splay out too much, and the images are really fuzzy. I think we all prefer the sets with markers instead.

It works great!
I ended up giving sets of these to all the kids for Christmas. What a great way for the kids to be able to be creative and still keep things clean for their parents. Not only do I recommend these, but I suggest that the adults sit down and play with these with the kids as well. You'll have time... just use what time you would have spent in clean-up instead!

I was hesitant to let my 2 year old paint - I thought the mess would just be too much.. This product is great - no mess and she gets to paint.. What more could you ask for.. If your toddler is still putting things in his/her mouth you will need to take the caps but other than that - it is perfect..

This is perfect for my daughter, and she LOVES it! She's 2 1/2 so the brushes take a beating. The Markers probably would have been better, but it really is mess-free. No more coloring on walls or clothes!

3.0 out of 5 stars not really for a 3 year old, July 1, 2011

This would be great, *if* it works like a normal crayon/pen. The problem is there is a delay from the time you draw to the time you see the picture/line. It is only few seconds (may be 3-4), but long enough to get the kids confused and frustrated. They think they didnt draw, and they try again. Or they try pushing the tip harder. Now if you do that and use too much "ink" at the same place on the paper, the colors look totally washed out when it finally shows up.

It may be useful for bigger kids (may be 5+?), but definitely not for a 3 year old. My kid loves painting, but he doesn't like this at all :(

My son is almost 1 1/2 years old so I wanted something that was mess-free. When I saw the commercials for the Color Wonder products, I was so excited!! Although he is still too young to really draw, he has a blast trying to - and that's all that matters. Eventually we'll upgrade to real markers (I don't want him thinking he can draw on anything and not damage it!!) but for now this is a perfect solution.

My 3yr old daughter and 12 yr old son spent hours using these paints. We were at a hotel and in the car for 6 hours - the kids worked quietly without having to worry about any mess. I will definitely buy more when they run out, which hasn't happened yet and it's been a week.

I love colour wonder, my 3 year old wonders around with his regular markers and every once in a while we find markers on something. With these paints and markers nothing ever appears anywhere but the colour wonder paper. These paint brushes are hard to find in a retail store and don't last long if the lids are kept off but I still replace them.

This is amazing. My son loves painting. And now that they have this, I am relived. I can have my children working on this when I work from home. And now I don't have to clean up paint on my walls and stuff. Its also very entertaining and my house gets beutifal works of art from it.

I thought this product was only supposed to show up on the paper, however, within one minute, my son had written on his shirt, and it is now stained. The whole reason I bought these was so that this wouldn't happen. So, even though he really likes them, I wouldn't recommend the product because of this.
