5.0 out of 5 stars Colorful markers but "washable" only on clothes
These are nice markers. The colors are vivid and the caps are fairly easy for a toddler to remove and replace. When we bought these we read the word "washable" and assumed that it meant that they were washable off of most surfaces. They're not. Washable means that they won't stain clothing. The color is supposed to come off when you throw them in the washer...

2.0 out of 5 stars Non-washable = disaster
Crayola markers are great. Except when they are NOT washable. I purchase markers for my kids all of the time and wasn't paying attention with these. That red stain on my shirt will not come out. Buy the washable markers instead and enjoy them.

These are nice markers. The colors are vivid and the caps are fairly easy for a toddler to remove and replace. When we bought these we read the word "washable" and assumed that it meant that they were washable off of most surfaces. They're not. Washable means that they won't stain clothing. The color is supposed to come off when you throw them in the washer. When you read the fine print on the package it explains that they are not washable off of many hard surfaces such as walls. So you still have to be careful that your young artist only draws on paper, not the bedroom wall.
