The absolute best sidewalk chalk ever!, February 28, 2009

We've had sidewalk chalk before but never like this. Someone gave this to my daughter as a gift. I didn't think much of it at the time. It's just sidewalk chalk, right? We have sidewalk chalk, and she likes it; she could always use more sidewalk chalk. Well, I was wrong. It's not *just* sidewalk chalk. It's GIANT sidewalk chalk. Sidewalk chalk is usually pretty chunky anyway, but this is the ultimate in chunk. And kids love the Crayola Crayon shape, rather than the drab cylindrical ones they usually come in. I know, but shape matters (especially when you're 4)! They mark well and don't break into bits easily. Very nice. I highly recommend Crayola Giant Sidewalk Chalk over other sidewalk chalk.

i was shocked by how big the giant chalk really was. but it worked out great. it draws very well, very pretty colors. my 17 month old daughter got the hang using the chalk quickly, despite the big size. would make a cute gift.

Fun but unwieldy, March 22, 2011

Little one liked this chalk, but while he was entertained by the jumbo size, it meant I had to do all of the drawing for him. WHile he enjoys directing the action for a change, not really a good toy to keep him entertained for long. However, he is 2 1/2, and an older child might be more intrigued by trying to manage the large pieces (after all, it is "Giant" chalk)
