These crayons do smell - I guess you could say they smell "silly" but I would say they smell "stinky". The crayons have weird smells that remind me of bad perfume. None of the scents are recognizable. For example: Booger Buster (light green), Winter Wizard (light blue), Sasquash Socks (red), Pixie Powder (purple) - they all smell like odd perfumes. When you open the box you are hit with the stink of a discount perfume store - I would rather throw these away & be out the cost of the crayons then let my kids use them & give me a headache. Don't bother with these. ug.

The crayons do tend to take on the same scent after a period of use. If you use a single scent on a card, you can smell the individual scent. When you start mixing them, the smell becomes the same. It's fun for something different to color with.

These crayons don't vary in scent, don't try to match their scents with names at all, and generally just stink. Wouldn't recommend them if you're looking for funny gross smells either, because they resemble an old nasty perfume shop more closely than a collection of creatively awkward scents.
