DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU HAVE CARPET AND FURNITURE YOU WANT TO KEEP!!

They are so soft they flake EVERYWHERE. And these aren't like flecks of crayon that are hard and easy to pick up. They are soft and SMEAR. They smear if you walk over the flakes. They smear if you try to pick them up. They smear when try to vacum them. They stick to the bottoms of sneakers and socks and on clothes, and then smear on couches and carpets in other rooms!

What's worse, they DISSOLVE and SPREAD when you hit them with water. So when you try to wash the smear out of the carpet, the stain SPREADS. And that's just from the flakes you can SEE. The flakes can get lost in the carpet. Then later, you decide to wash it and ....OMG! Where did all these spots come from???!!! It's like adding water to dried watercolors in your carpet.

It's very easy to get excess color on the drawings that will flake off later where ever you decide to display them. So that's another delayed problem you have to deal with. Not to mention smearing the drawing against anything.

If you are lucky , you can get all the color out of your furniture and carpet. But we still have stains on our carpet and chairs from our first experience with these. (tip, use SPOT SHOT... it's your best hope to wash this stuff out of your carpet).

These are AWFUL!!!! Use washable Crayola Crayons instead!

My son can't use regular crayons and markers to color due to his severe upper body weakness from a neuromuscular disease. The Slick Sticks are great-- they slide easily across a page with minimal effort! I only wish they came in more colors.

These crayons are like writing with lipstick. They are very soft and definitely not for young children. The colors are bright and beautiful. I just wish they came in more colors!
