Wow- what a great activity. This is every parent's dream. A great interactive activity. My kids love it. They can color- use their creativity, listen to instruction and enjoy a great story. It really runs itself so I can spend a few minutes either cooking dinner or hopping in the shower and I know my kids will be entertained. The entertainment is quality interaction not just mindless TV watching, It is a great story that really keeps them engaged!

This innovative DVD is really well done, such a cool concept, and something my kids have enjoyed playing repeatedly. My 3-yr old likes to listen to the stories, and my 4-yr old prefers the coloring, so its a win-win for both (and me too)! I appreciate being able to keep them engaged with something other than TV while I get a little time to get some stuff done around the house. I highly recommend it!

As an early childhood professional, I highly recommend this interactive DVD/coloring experience for children ages 3-8. I find this game concept to be educational, interesting, and fun. It encourages focus and fine motor skills in a more engaging and age-appropriate manner than typical video games. This interactive coloring concept is great for children and for parents!

My nieces and nephews are 6 and under and even the 2 year old loves this. They are intrigued by the video and they really pay attention and color by following it. If you want to keep them occupied for a bit while you do something else, this is the perfect toy! It opens up their creativity and they really enjoy it as well!

Go it for my grandkids to play with. They love it so it was worth the money I spent on it. They love to color the pictures and hang them on grandmas refrige.

basically all this is is a coloring book and crayons with a boring DVD. My kids were bored with it within 5 minutes. Save your money and buy a plain old coloring book and crayons.

The concept behind this toy is pretty cool. A story-time style DVD about ocean animals plays while the participating child colors a matching coloring book. The DVD cues them when to color which animals, and when to turn the page.
PROS: Comes with three of the same coloring books, so multiple kids can watch and play at once. Randomized activities on the DVD selection means they can do different pages at different times, so they don't get bored with it. Comes with three sets of crayons too. And it's cheap! And the DVD shows the characters being colored in a real kid way-outside the lines, so they aren't pushing perfection. CONS: Seriously dull story-line that might be good for getting kids ready for a nap. The DVD doesn't allow enough time to color each thing before it moves on. Yet it has lots of long pauses at other random times with the kid looking at you for what to do. After awhile my son just colored and didn't even watch the DVD. Not a long term toy that's going to get used more than once, but it'd be great if you had to babysit or do a one-time party thing.

my kids received this for Christmas and really enjoy it. However, once you've colored all of the pages, there isn't much use for it anymore. It's very cute for the toddler set but even my 7yr old liked it.
This might be a nice rainy day gift or for a day out at Grandma's but isn't something you are going to keep using when you have gone through both stories and colored all of the pages. I bought this for only $5, can't see where it's worth much more than that since it is so limited in use.

First off this game is produced by Screenlife Games, which also makes games all the Scene It games so I knew it would be fun. I mean Scene It and Crayola combined has to be fun, right! So I put the kids table in front of the televsion and popped in the DVD. I thought my boys would ignore the TV but they actually waited like I asked until the DVD came on. Then came the stories that corresponded with the coloring book.
Aidan and Gavin loved the fact that not only did I let them color (we have had a lot of crayon on the wall incidents) but also in front of the TV! They loved the animation from the DVD and it was actually quite cute! Now the premise is that the kids are suppossed to color when the DVD shows you that you should color and what color to use. So for example, it shows a purple crayon coloring a bird and then the kid should do the same. Now at first I thought my sons wouldn't understand but my 3 year old did and he followed along, it wasn't the greatest and he didn't always use the right crayon but I am sure he will in time. It is such an adorable idea and it teaches kids not only to follow directions but also be creative and have fun! The three episodes on the DVD do have a nice storyline and once you use up the three coloring books, you can print out additional coloring sheets so the fun never ends! And actually you can print out full additional books so you can have as many kids following along as the amount of books you have.

I purchased it for my 3-year-old daughter. Although the included software offers guidance about how to paint, it is better for me to do it with my child, otherwise she may be out of sync with guidance soon. We had a good time together. Since there are three sets of books and crayola, and we only used one set, we can continue the fun later.
