These markers are an excellent value.
While they are nowhere near the quality of professional markers like Prismacolor or Copic, using the right paper you can actually layer color for acceptable results. I normally use them for detailed sketches (I am a cartoonist/mangaka/comic artist/whatever)and the results are very good. I actually got a set for my sister, who is majoring in Fine Arts, and another set for my wife and they love them as well. I can only imagine the fun a kid can have with them. Highly recommended.

These are great markers. My daughters asked for alot of different color markers and I wanted them to be washable. We were all impressed. Plus some of the markers are scented- that was a bonus.
