Its by David Grey called This Years Love

I saw the movie four times this week since it came out on video Tuesday and I love it. It was a very good teen drama and one of the best and most underrated movies of the year. As soon as I saw the movie I had to rush out and buy the soundtrack and I'm glad I did, it's GREAT. I want to give it 5 stars so bad but I can't because it's missing one of the BEST songs from the movie called "This Years Love" by David Gray. It's an amazing song and I don't see why it wasn't put on the soundtrack. It was a BIG part of the movie and really stood out. The soundtrack is great and features almost every song from the movie but that one. And I do love the soundtrack but I must say I was very disappointed that song wasn't on it. That was a HUGE mistake not to include it. Anyway, if you liked the movie and the music then definately buy the CD, but that song should have been on here and is definately missed. Other than that both the soundtrack and the movie are very good.

I would give the soundtrack ***** but it's missing that song so I must go with ****, but even without that song it is still one of my favorite soundtracks and CD's of the year. Definately buy it.

I know many people who may be searching online are frequent visitors to pages like this, so I wanted to do my good deed for the day to help people who were wondering what song was being played in the airplane scene in Crazy/Beautiful. I saw another post on here referring to that song as Collective Soul's song "Turnaround"... This is wrong. The song is by Collective Soul and is called "After All". It sounds similar to "Turnaround" and is also on Collective Soul's new Cd "Blender" I know at least one person was looking for this info. If you want to hear the song, in the post-Napster age.. you should get Bearshare or another program that runs on the Gnutella network and download until your heart is content. It is a shame that the Collective Soul song and the David Gray song were not included on the Soundtrack, they are both very good songs.

This is one of the best movies I've ever seen, whats best about it is the soundtrack, though not every single song was in it, they have included the best, and just for all of them out there, the song for the "love scene" (which was metioned before) is called "This Year's Love" by David Gray, just search for "This Year's Love Pt.2" on ... and you can hear a sample, for those who haven't seen the movie, see it, that way the soundtrack can make one good one and then you'll know why I've wrote this review

I saw someone was looking for the slow song name from the movie. It's by David Gray and it's called "This years love". I love the song and I noticed this soundtrack doesn't have many of the songs on the movie. That stinks. =P

There is a great song that I noticed they played in the movie, but I don't think it's on the soundtrack?? It is a slow song, and was played during the "love scene". Can anyone help??

The movie is great! if you havent seen it definitly rent it because Jay Hernandez is sooo sexy! and the movie is really well done...but enough about the movie...now for the soundtrack...this soundtrack is amazing, i love every song and they picked some really good ones..just the only one missing is definitly the one after the "love scene" that I think is the BESTTTTTTTTTTT song ever ahh i just listen to it over and over again so if you wanna check that song out its by David Gray "This Years Love".... buy the soundtrack tho cause its really good and captures everything

This is a very good soundtrack. In my humble opinion it could have used one more song from they guy's world. Something with a little latin flavor. Although I was disappointed to see that it was missing the best song of the movie. That song was the one played when they are flying in the plane during the movie. For those of you who love the song and can't find it, it is called After All by Collective Soul. That song should have been in the soundtrack from day one. Overall though it's a good soundtrack.

Many a people ask where the song is. The slow, love song that was played in the sequene scene in the film. Well, friends, I have that mystery song. I'm about to unlock this mystery... That beautiful song played in the film is titled "This Years Love" by David Gray. It can be found on David Gray's album "White Ladder," a CD which I highly, highly, highly recommend. So, to all who were wondering about that song, there ya go! :)

While I may not have actually purchased the CD yet per se, I'm determined that I'll love it (and yes, in the full sense of that word; I'm going to cherish an inanimate object) for one simple reason: it's got the track Shattered, by Remy Zero. I've been looking for this incredible song ever since I saw the movie Suicide Kings four years ago. This haunting melody alone is worth twice the number on any CD sticker. I'd drive to whatever no-name, po-dunk, "Bob's Shack O' CDs"-style place I had to, just to get this. To find it here on Amazon, and me with a credit card in hand, well, some things just fall into your lap. Lucky me. It's an unbelievable shame that there isn't a sample of Shattered available here right now, because unless a song that cures cancer and simultaneously teaches me how to dance is on the album, Remy Zero has the best track hands down. I'm exaggerating, yeah, but you'd agree with me if you could just hear the song.
Right now, I'm just glad I finally found it.
