Product Description

No, its not a mistake, more than 2000 years ago the boys and girls of ancient Greece and Rome played a game using bones throwing and bouncing them in village squares and in their own homes. We know this because some ancient paintings on marble were discovered in a city called Resina which date back more than 2000 years, showing kids playing this game. This ancient pastime known as tabas has been kept alive throughout the centuries and if you ask your parents or grandparents we are sure they will tell you about games that they played with sticks or pebbles.

Apparently, this is the new "MUST HAVE" toy for my kids. First it was Pokeman, then Baugukan and now it's HexBugs and gogo's crazy bones. I like these better then the mass marketed choices. This package contains 3 crazy bone figures. The price of this toy varies but it should run a little over $1 per crazy looking figure. These packs can be very hard to find in stores so purchasing here is a nice option as long as the price is reasonable.

This is Series 1 and the most wanted of the toys since they are the original 88 (80 + 8 special versions) figures. You get three figures to a pack with 2 stickers for collecting. There are books for each series (Series 4 being the most recent) to collect cards or stickers, in this case, and rules for games using the gogo's crazy bones. They have a website for the toy that also provides game rules, videos and other forums for all things crazy bones.

Be careful when purchasing to make sure that they are gogo's crazy bones with the Magic Box label since they are many copies lurking out there and kids know the difference.

I know that some marketing ploy is behind the rush to own THIS toy over others but it's always something and I'm okay with it compared to others. My boys think up ways to make their own googo's crazy bone video, play the battle game and keep themselves busy so I think it's worth the price. I also highly recommend the One Individual Nano Hexbug Robot with Online Code - Colors May Vary. I'm not a big fan of the mass marketing of Pokeman & Bagukan (tv shows, lunch packs, etc.) so I was very happy to leave those behind.

While adults don't understand what's so interesting about these kids can't get enough of them! Like Silly Bandz they're interesting looking collectibles (but wont break like silly bandz). These are the Series 1 which are the originals and are much more sought after. Hard to find in stores so I'd recommend getting them here on Amazon if you know someone who likes them.
