About the Author

Rolf A. Jacobson is Associate Professor of Old Testament at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. He has authored numerous books and Bible studies and is a contributing writer to The Lutheran Handbook (2005, 978-0-8066-5179-8) and The Lutheran Handbook II (2007, 978-0-8066-7037-9).
Karl N. Jacobson is Assistant Professor of Religion at Augsburg College, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is an ordained pastor of the ELCA and contributed to Crazy Talk: A Not-So-Stuffy Dictionary of Theological Terms.

I have found this little book to be a neat resource for me
in leading Bible study discussion groups. Its fun and
lighthearted in the way it presents information on Biblical
personalities, themes, and terms. Although appropriate
for all ages - I think it would be a a wonderful little book
to use in working with teens. Its theology is sound --
what a great addition to my shelf of Biblical resources!!
