Not a canoe chair,

The chair is ok, the back is a little to short for me. I am 6 feet tall. I am not sure why they call it a canoe chair, there is no way to attach it to a canoe? If I had not been leaving for my trip the day after it came in the mail, I probably would have returned it and found something else.
