Being 6'4" tall I needed a chair that fits me. I couldnt be more pleased with this chair. Also it can be layed flat under your sleeping bag for addition comfort and insulation.

We bought one of each - the low back and the high back. Both are great...comfortable and easy to carry. Although the high-back gives you a bit more support, the low-back fits easily enclosed in my backpack. I think bigger folks might appreciate the high-back for extra support though.

I recently left my 15 year old long back Crazy Creek at an outdoor concert and it wasn't turned in to Lost and Found. I was really bummed. I'd taken that chair all around the world, it was part of my outdoor experience. It's bullet proof, it's comfortable, and if you're willing to use it this way it's a good 3/4 length sleeping pad. At the very least it's another very good layer of insulation against cold ground. Great chair.

If you take the time to get the chair adjusted to your frame and desired sitting angle, it can be extremely comfortable and just what you're looking for at the end of a long hike. Find a stump or rock at the perfect height, kick your feet up on your bear canister, and it's almost like you're in your living room.

It rolls up nice and tight, the strap to secure it is easy to operate and strong. Seems very well constructed and I have had no tears or problems after three backpacking trips so far.

Pros: taller back worth the extra carry length (folds, not rolls, vertically), can lay flat and be used a torso minimalist sleeping pad, general comfort good and superior over standard size, quazi quilted material better in warm weather than competition.

Cons: bulkier in storage mode than I expected, roughly the height of a 72 hour pack.

Conclusions: if comfort and storage size are an issue and you can spend 50% more, pick the Heilnox.
