4.0 out of 5 stars Great forts...MUST read instructions! March 28, 2011
Durability: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
Initially, like many others, I did not read the instructions and was quite frustrated and disappointed with Crazy Forts; I felt they were cheap, wouldn't stay together, etc. However, after READING THE INSTRUCTIONS my opinion is completely changed. The 'sticks' stay inside the 'balls' and the structures stay strong no matter how much my 3 year old, his friends, myself or Daddy crawl in and out and play inside. The key is to have the 'crazy fort' logo UP on every ball and to TWIST the sticks to get them to be secure. When creating the angles, you may have to rotate the ball but the logo still stays up. We build a new fort every morning and it lasts all day! I'M SO GLAD I FINALLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! It is too difficult for my 3 year old to build himself but that is expected as even the rating on the box is for 'ages 5 and up'.

1.0 out of 5 stars extremely disappointing January 19, 2009

Durability: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
After hearing the great reviews on a TV show, I was so excited to receive this product for my son. However after opening the box and assembling I was extremely disappointed. You would need 4 boxes in order to make a fort and the product kept on falling apart. So its durability was definitely flawed and needs serious improvement. I do believe that I wasted money on this product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Crazy Forts-- a little nutty January 17, 2009
By Pat
Durability: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 2.0 out of 5 stars
What a great concept except it doesn't hold up. It is quite flimsy and it's very difficult for the kids
to assemble.

It's a shame because it is an outstanding idea. I wish they would have made it easier to assemble for the
kids and also to hold up a sheet. The sheet weighed it down and it kind of toppled.

I would recommend it for the concept and they do have fun when it's up but you should definitely
invest in a parachute type of material to cover it.

Very difficult to put together and it is not very sturdy. You need 4 more boxes to make a nice size fort for the kids. To hard for children to put together. I had a hard time. Read more

If you follow the directions all works out well. Easy to assemble but the letters to indicate the hole #'s are not a contrasting color so it's hard to see. Read more
