4.0 out of 5 stars They help!
If you use a light colored sheet for the cover of your fort you will be fine during the day but any other time and with something heavier, you will need a light source inside for funtime. The lights fit into the holes great and are durable. My 2 & 4 year old repeatedly pushed the buttons on and off and used them in other ways then intended and they are still working...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not very sturdy
We got these for our 5 year old son since he loves to make caves with his crazy fort set. They are a great idea, but after being dropped on a carpeted floor a few times, they don't work so well. Sometimes the light doesn't come on at all, sometimes it blinks... I would think they would be a little more sturdy for a child's toy.

They are not super bright but enough to see by.

Assuming you can get your "Crazy Fort" system to stay together (which my kids cannot without a lot of parent intervention) - these little lights that plug in to the structure are great.
