Ke$ha finally handed a nice surprise with her latest single. I listened to the song on her Warrior album, but wasn't really a fan until I heard the radio version - then it started getting stuck in my head. The rhythm is engaging and the hook is very catchy. I am glad that Ke$ha is deciding to sing and not reduce herself to her 'TikTok' days of super over-autocorrect on her vocals. It's nice to hear her growing vocally, though I still think she's at her best when she's giving us clean-but-slightly-suggestive rather than dropping profanity around her tracks - as a DJ, it rarely works for me to be able to play explicit songs during gigs.

Then there is the will.i.am verse - I like will.i.am, I think he's very well-spoken and his beats are usually spot-on. He also has an incredibly distinct rap/song voice and he adds a lot to this track in his rap musically. Lyrically, it really is one of his weakest - "I'm the n**** that says mazel tov", "she put boobies in my face and now I'm really seeing doubles/took her back to my place to blast off like a shuttle", and his mumble-bubble lines show that this verse must have been a throwaway. I like the flow of it, I just don't like the uninspired and "hehehe he said boobies" nature of the lyrics. I fully admit that's personal preference but when lyrics detract from a song it's always a shame.

My favorite part of this song is the drop after the choruses - the whispered "we are the crazy people" is fantastic.

I must admit I love Ke$sha even though I'm normally more into nineties alternative. Something works here. She's fun and the songs are catchy.

I like the song a lot but didn't realize this wasn't the version that I am used to hearing on iHeartRadio. I didn't like the will.i.am portion of the song.
